. Now nudity as a crime is right out of the Judaea Christen tradition. See from Gen 3:10 to Rev 15:15 with a good deal in-between. So indecent exposure, like usury, gambling, and Sunday closing laws are based on the Bible. Therefore, could you fight a charge of indecent exposure on a church/state basis?
I imagine you could, but I think the level at which you would fight the case would not change anything. Also, they may argue it is no longer a religious belief, but a common belief among the general public...
Public prayer is a common belief among the general public - and I am not trying to change anything I am just trying to open up the thought - I have no plans to wag my tiny appendage in the wind.
I heard something like a cop cant enter or arrest you if you have run into a church or something like that...but thas very doubtful.
In the US, NO. The issue is "public standards". The court generally recognizes "common mores"- which are flexible with social evolution. But At this time, nudity is not a part of society. This does not apply to the prayer in school issue because the constitution specifically addresses that matter. Now you might have a shot if you found a biblical argument promoting public nudity. In that case you could scream "religious freedom".
In New York, women are permitted by law to go topless in public as long as it's not for the purpose of business.
