Okay, that's fine, I got recently prostate cancer which was at the first stage without penetrating in to the other organs. After MRI and biopsy, the doctor ordered low dose radiation for 6 weeks, so after the radiation I waited to visit my doctor to recheck it to see how it is going on.
I kindly ask you how can I be sure if it is cure or not ? And what type test should be done. The recent PSA test after the one month of radiation is 3.5. Which it under the border line.

There should be a Blood test with specific cancer “markers” you could have done.
One month is probably too early to say if it is cured. They will follow your blood values and perform follow-up CT or MRI scans if indicated. Have patience, stay healthy, and pray for the best outcome. It’s a tough disease but beatable.
It’s been 10-12 years since mine was surgically removed because the Biopsy showed Cancer cells. Early detection was lucky. My blood work has been normal ever since. My choices then were “watch and wait”, Radiation Therapy, or Surgery. I chose to have the Prostate removed with the DiVinci Robotic Surgical device.
    Hope you do well !

Yes, he did , actually I personally figure out that something is wrong with my prostate, it is good for you as an expert to know my story.
I used to test PSA every year since 20 years ago, and its rate never raised more than 2.8. Last year I test it , it jumped up to 3.5 so my doctor check it and told me everything is fine , it is lover than the boarder line, 4 . Then I told him , no there is something wrong because during the last 20 years the rate was more or less constant, after he checked my record he order to do MRI and biopsy, the result was positive. Now I am too happy that I saved my life by keeping my health records.

    Hi there! :)

I live in the space between the low desert and snow-covered mountains, so while I've done plenty of snowboarding (at least until my kid was born...funny how that happens), I've never surfed in my life, but omg it looks so fun. If I lived near the beach, I'd totally take up surfing!

Clicking on the person's avatar will bring a small box up. Among the options is 'start conversation'.

A common misunderstanding is that we suddenly develop prostate cancer, it takes decades to develop. As with all cancers, cells become malignant when they are threaded. The reasons this happens in the prostate have yet to be fully understood, with theories varying from connections to fat tissue build up, to the hypothesis that we may have inherited them from birth.
Following your MRI scan and the subsequent biopsy, a level and duration of target beam radiotherapy would have been calculated to minimise damage to surrounding tissue, particularly the walls of the urethra. Following the treatment, the offending cells have been killed, but not removed, so shrinkage of the prostate can take up to 2 years. So unless their is considerable concern during this period, a second biopsy is not advised.
Either a CT or MRI scan should show your prostate returning to about the size of a walnut.
