I would 'disinvent' ChatGPT and Chatbots. These inventions are going to diminish the quality of our shared existence in far too many ways to count.

ChatGPT is an incredibly useful and powerful tool that I rely on quite a bit.

Agreed. Chatbots are great for people with poor communication skills, or that no one wants to talk to.

The stereotypical alarm clock sound! That "eer eer eer" is so annoying and gives me a headache. And it's in so many different movies and TV shows - I can't escape! It's blaring! I hate it!

Hadn't 'America' been discovered by its many indigenous tribes thousands of years previously? Same as China, and most other places on Earth that the countries of the West claimed to have "discovered".

"disinvent" or get rid of... the five day work week. Four days is enough. Preferably no more than 5 or 6 hours a day.

The internet and so called smart tech. For all the good of its potential it has actually speeded up our own de-evolution and is quickly dumming down society while putting more power and control of the masses into the hands of megalomaniac psychopaths.

Anyone notice that the so called information superhighway is actually more of a disinformation superhighway?

The internet. We have the world’s information literally at our fingertips and yet somehow we’ve become dumber for it.

I love the irony of calling everything smart technology. The smarter our tech gets the dumber we get because for one we get lazy brained. I have even noticed people who were born before the internet and all the other new tech are losing their ability to do basic things like get from Point A to Point B in their cars, socialising, shopping, thinking for themselves without having to google, imagination without video producing the images, instincts? almost defunct, truth or lies or points inbetween? almost indiscernable as people trust the source and have nothing to bounce it off of that may also be deceptive. People all too heavily rely on bots, ai, apps, websites etc etc etc to tell us how to do everything and even what to think. Alexa Where is my Brain? I think I lost it. yadda yadda yadda All of it can be useful if we dont over rely on it and we dont nail our lives to it.

So many things I would put in Room 101 that I think would greatly improve human society. Stock Markets rule us and definitely are most beneficial to those who control the world. That level of greed and speculation is not our friend ( which by the way the fat cats who play with them can make just as much filthy lucre no matter which way the ball bounces. Anybody who thinks that so much of the shit going on in the world isnt tied into some people manipulating events or at the very least benefitting from even the worst - catastrophes, civil wars, evironmental disaters, disease, pestilance, famine et al
The stockmarket game feeds the four horses of the appocolypse and places bets on our lives. Blood money.
