It has been my experience that the moth balls keep the woolens from getting moth eaten holes in them......I used to like the way moth balls...
Can you call up the flower company that delivered them and at least find out what state or area they are from......? I would try to find out........
I have to run to the dollar store now for some batteries and moth balls to store some woolens in the shed....That is where I will put the moth...
