I'm...not sure in terms of distance. But I've gone on a few day hikes in Maine that took most of the day. I didn't bring footwear.
Once the weather warms up, I've found that walking on hot (but not too hot) blacktop thickens up the pads of your feet pretty fast.
I think very few guys are circumcised there. Off topic...but definitely a bucket list holiday destination!
