3 grams vs. an eighth

The people around here sell 3 grams at a time, not an eighth. I always see/hear people talking about buying 'eighths', but are they actually eighths? Or just 3 grams that they say is an eighth? Around here people don't even call them eighths. They won't start using that terminology until it gets to at least a half ounce.

well if you do the conversion, 1/8 of an ounce is 3.5 grams. so your 3 gram bags are just short of a true 1/8th. it doesn't matter much as long as the dealers aren't saying they are selling you an 1/8th but only giving you 3 grams.

 

I know what an eighth is. I was just wondering if anyone else has bought weed in eighths as opposed to 3 grams. It's a pretty unimportant question. Just curious

I've been to Jersey before and bought an 8th while I was there This was in Newark, if that means anything...

 

When I get an 8th its 3.5 grams always. Another weird one I saw was someone selling 22's for $20 which is 2.2g for $20

 

yeah no one sells 3 grams here. just 3.5 grams for like 40-60

 

some low level dealers around where i live really piss me off

they sell 1.7g L's for $10 and 3.5g eighths for $25

make sense? no. i dont get it..

where i live an eighth=4 g/$40 even though quarters are 7g/$70
i usually ask for a 40sack instead of an eighth just incase. some people might try to sell you 3.5g for 40 instead of 4g. i usually buy quarters and halfs.

 

They call it a half ounce instead of the numbers of grams.

Here it's $50 for 3g's. One guy I buy from does 3 for 40 and 1 for 15. It's mids too. That's cheap for around here.

There was one point where I was buying $10 bags that were 1.0/1.1's and they were pretty nice mids.

gram = $10-$15

20 sack = $20 worth of weed

1/8 = 3.5 g's, typically $40-$50

 

everyone sells 3 grams around here, always 3 for 25. thats just how she goes in d-town
