Anyone remember the CBS TV series Alice, 1976-85. I remember it well. It was very typical of the 70s I think, it's plots and the dialogue. Also, did you know I was an adult before I figured "kiss my grits" was a euphemism for kiss my ɐss?
They ran it in the UK.. oh, I don’t know.. 80s, I guess..? I liked it at the time. I had a thing for the “kiss my grits” woman - probably the accent, as much as anything..
