i'm looking it up. i know there's some rabbit owners here. little bunny doesn't seem quite happy. except that he absolutely adores sleeping behing the recliner in our bedroom. he will let us pet him and stuff when he's in his cage, but when he's out of it, he just hides. at any rate, the owner will let us keep him if we want to, but i'm not sure the little guy is very happy. i know the cage looks great now. we keep it clean and he gets fresh veggies with his food. i'm just not sure if he's happy.
found something: "Rabbits are actually "crepuscular", meaning they are most active in the twilight hours of both sunrise and sunset. " well, i don't think this bunny has been socialized much. he's not afraid of us by any means, he's more likely to chase you. he just wants nothing to do with us. but the kids like him. still, we're getting a puppy. i think we'll let little guy go back to his family.
some are but mostly ours are active all day long and sleep at night it's usually just the wild ones that become nocturnal, or really more dusk and dawn how old of a rabbit is it? it can take awhile for them to get used to people, but generally speaking, I've never had a problem with them being scared for very long
he's a cute little guy. he's not afraid of cats or dogs or children. like i said, it's not that, he's just not that social. he does let my daughter hold him in her lap and groom him. other than that, he seems to be a morning rabbit. i was wondering if he'd at least be more content if i left his cage open at night instead of day.
yes, I've had hundreds of rabbits through the years we had them at home when I was a kid so I've been around them since I was 6 or 7
I'm glad you included the word rabbit in there because I was beginning to think you were talking about Ganja. Kinda fit. haha Did you guys sell them or just raise them Ganj?
he's an awfully cute rabbit. kai loves him. he's quiet and trust her. she's really good at catching him.
i don't like seein him in his cage. it doesn't seem right, caging up an animal. i mean, for short periods for their protection and all, but honestly, i hadto trick him into my hand so that i could shove him in his cage to eat and drink some water. he's hopping around now.
They can be evil too. I've seen wild rabbits active in both night and day, but usually more at night.
same here that why i only let my bunnies play with their noisy toys in the evening before i go to bed. Most nights those bitches act like they don't know i need to be up early for school.
i never bought my rabbits toys but they do love licking on salt wheels and chewing shit like hay or something you'd buy for them to chew
cool. he does seem to like his cage better with the lavendar & sweet grass thrown in with the aspen chip. i just leave his cage open. now that he's not stuck in there i don't have to chase him down to put him in there to eat or drink or poop.
