Aries & Gemini

was wondering if anyone can comment on the success potential of an aries/gemini relationship??

we've been dating for about a year...astrological compatibility reports on long-term relationship potential ranges from good to great...but issues regarding fair 'give-&-take' seem to be forming & confusing!!

 

In my book describes the relationship as dynamic,exciting,and interesting...


Sounds like a good mix,IMO,if Aries has a 10/10 potential with Aquarius, then it won't be much problem with Gemini (since Gemini and Aquarius has a 9/10 potential)....

The only thing in the way would be gemini's mood-swings, and aries's MINE problems...

Both are also entertaining, who know's? Ths could get very juicy...

 

Hi! I'm a Gemini and lived with an Aries(he was 28,I was 17.) This cat was moodier than me! He was very insecure,had a frequent violent streak,usually aimed towards me. I stayed for 3 years,thinking it all was my fault,I could make it better(sure). One day I started to see things clearly & split,never looking back! My step- father is an Aries(he & my mother fought all the time!) That's my insight to Aries,I steer clear of them. Was it my upbringing? The clashing of our signs? we've never really argued in anger...our tendency is to create 'space' for however long that is to sort out emotions...then go for drinks to clear the air...but lately the 'space' has become longer & longer...feeling this could be a sign of moving on..?

 

Any 28 year old man that is in a relationship with a teenager, has issue's to begin with. I'm glad you got away from him.....

I dated a gemini not so long ago and i felt like he wanted to make me his twin. As an independent Arien lady this was a big no-no. Having said that, we get along brilliantly and if that hadn't been the case who knows what might have happened.

 

I am just getting over my relationship ( if that is what you would call it) with an aries. im 22 and he's 28. temper temper!!!!!!!! and mood swings??? oh, and his obsession with feet. dear god girl, if your a gemini, a GEMini, do not ever ever date even casually, an ARies. thank you and good night.

 

Now, now. Aries and geminis make excellent friends but only in small doses. Day to day relations are great because conversation comes so easy and free flowing. But it lacks depth.
After too long together the aries will be driven mad because his need for intellectual intensity of depth is not being satisfied. He will become irritated with the gemini and what does aries do? In a very cold fashion he withdraws from gemini.
But the Gemini doesnt form the same irratibility about the aries because gemini is so flexible, things dont eat away at him, his mind jumps from one thing to another. Hes intellectual needs are quite satisfied, he thinks that aries finds him funny, smart and fun.
Years after the failed relationship, aries will look back admiting he was a bit rude and dismissing, and kinda regreting it cause he knows that Gemini was one of the few people in his life that he felt comfortable with and kinda understood by. He thinks- "damn that relationship had potential why did'nt I foster it? ah another one of my fuck-ups"
Gemini will look back with detest towards aries, either feeling used or just plain confusion on what was the matter with aries- he thinks "man they must of been fucked up."

 

This all seems true to me. I haven't been in a relationship with an Aries, but the 3 people in my life that are closest to me are, my father, and 2 girl friends.

I was wondering what the best bet was for Geminis? I am one, an I am currently talking to a virgo, but things aren't going to well. But that may be because he is quite a bit more conservative than I am. Oh well. Answer soon!

 

From what people have told me and what I can tell, Pisces. I dated a virgo and I don't wanna talk about it.

 

i think gemini and aries are a good match...but power struggles and time are an issue..aries need their space, and geminis will stifle that...aries give more, geminis will suck the life out of you....oh not talking from experience or anything....hahaha

 

as i said before, im a gem who dated an aries, and it was weird, cause i felt we had switched roles. i played the hot-tempered ram and he played the airy gemini with personalities that had personalities. i was and still am, so confused. my moon sign is either libra or vrgo( i get em mixed up) so it just doesn't make sense. (??????)

 

just out of curiousity, aries/scorpio...it was an ex from some time ago...another is cancer/scorpio, another ex. I think my current is scorpio/scorpio actually. can't remember the other ex and her sign.

Fun, I get to throw in my knowledge... out side of the mood swing and everything, Geminis and Aries are one of the best macthes. All you have to do is see past the bad things to what is more there. Very similar personalities, high spirited, ambitious, not want to do what others demand (can be a problem, but it leads to interesting life style). There is never a moment in which either of the people are bored, both being kept on their toes with an active life. There will be tests, but all relationships have tests. Commitment can be hard, but with love, respect, and affection this pairing has a very high chance of lasting forever. Be prepared if the Gemini flirts, they aren't looking for more, it's just part of their nature. Having a chart for both members (or having a love chart made) will give you more insight to the relationship.

When it comes to realtionships plain old aires / gemini or any other combo will not tell you much.

What you have to do is lay one chart over another, and the other chart over the one. Then you look at any angles made.

The plainest compatibility would be if your rising matches his descendant and if his acendant matches your descendant. My descendant is pisces so I want a pisces woman, or a woman with pisces ascendant. There have been enough women in my life to know that Taurus, Libra, Pisces, Virgos, et. al. all make good partners. But the most explosive combo is fire and water - steam.

 

I am absolutely gaga over a Gemini boy. He is just my latest fancy. Problem is: ever astrological book I read says it looks like committment will be hard to come by for two sets of gems. Anyone know differently?
