On IG there is a series of photos of young (say, upper 20s) French women "from Lyon" (a most handsome city) who are minimally dressed (as to short apparel and an apparent absence of underclothes), very attractive, and permanently barefoot. They adore being barefoot given the variety of public and private (hotels, restaurants) spaces they inhabit. Ah, Europe! So different from our Victorian shunning habits. Alas, these barefoot ladies are......AI. Their feet, tops and (almost never seen) soles are forever clean and unsullied. A reliable barefooter informed me (I had long wondered) of this "fact" (exceedingly difficult to know at this point). Still, pretty, young, and perpetually barefoot ladies are a joy to see/imagine. To paraphrase Melville, "Ah reality, ah humanity."
I love having barefoot female buds go walking barefoot with but now that it’s getting colder they only go barefoot in their house. I wish I could find someone that would go barefoot with me all year around like I do .
I'd be happy with anyone who'd be a barefoot partner. It would get me going barefoot everywhere again like when I was younger.
