Best Movies to watch Tripping

Usually a blank wall will suffice, but sometimes when your tripping with friends its good to pop in a good ol fashion movie. Whats your favorite??

Donnie Darko seriously changed my life after watching it on acid, 100 percent more meaningful then normal.

 

pink floyd the wall. or ace ventura pet detective 1 always craked me up as well.

 

nothing compares to a well made nature documentary.

 

^going along with that, ones that have mostly images and not that much sound are good... just put the movie on, mute the television and put on some chill music and just watch/listen.

 

i hate movies when tripping. Not so bad after the comedown and u cant sleep though.

At the end of my first ever trip me and some friends played an xbox (or similar) movie trivia game and there was one question where they showed a clip from E.T. a minute or two afterward i was like "that was an animated remake of E.T. wasnt it?". Apparently it was the real thing lol.

 

movies while tripping bad idea to much to comprehend. get an ipod with some speakers put it on a back pack an go for a hike walk go to the beach some where calming nature is the best but i will admit laser tag an neon put put is pretty amazing

 

the doors movie, or fight club will make you trip balls

╥ ... maybe? Its generally an "off mood" type movie & horrible for a date! :leaving:, but maybe...

 

Iron man and Transformers was so sick...The explosions were amazing, i was hooked instantly to the movie, i was planted to floor, i remember i could lye anywhere and yet i was still comfortable and was so into the movie, i was talking about transformers...

My next mission is to watch that. I remember in 7th grade going to an Imax theather on a field trip and we watched fantasia 2000 and the whole time my friend was like whooaaa im on a acid trip! If i could only go back now and have me and my friend take acid for real. Anyone tripped in Imax before?


Im surprised no one said alice in wonderland. That is defiantly one you have to watch.

 

i'd definitely say fantasia, but be selective about which parts you watch. the dinosaur part and also the part with the devil could be scary.
really, though, i'd recommend any old school disney movie, esp robin hood or something... the animated one, of course. just too awesome to not watch if you don't have anything to do.

my faaaaavorite thing to watch tripping is planet earth, though. soooo fantastic.

 

i'll never forget watching lord of war on acid. also the last samurai.

but anchorman is a great movie to watch while tripping, it becomes infinitely more funny. i watched the illusionist while coming down one time also, which was quite spectacular. i highly recomend watching the illusionist, the depth of the movie becomes much more apparent on lsd.

Microcosmos (an awesome nature film), Across the Universe, and other random movies.

 

I love that movie man... But movies suck for tripping. Just look at the fucking sky! I once watched The Matrix on DXM and that was awesome.
