best way to smoke kief?

so heres the situation, i couldnt find anyone selling nug on short notice so im stick weedless for the night, but! i have my grinder which has a nice pile of kief in it. so im looking for the best way to smoke this without wasting any or having it sucked through the bottom of the bowl since i have nothing to plug it with (no stems or nothin).

i have:
very small pipe with very small bowl

slightly bigger pipe with big bowl

single bubbler with medium bowl

bong with very big bowl

and some other various pipes and bongs but im just going to list the glass pieces, i know pic's would help but i dont currently have a camera

i could make a light bulb vape but im just not in the mood to make anything... any sugestions?

 

go get some screens at the headshop. put a screen in a bowl. pack only small bits at a time, smoking it ALL in a single hit, breathing in lots of fresh air with it, and holding for about 10 seconds before exhaling, and you'll pretty much get all you can out of it without wasting any.

 

i have some metal screens but i try to avoid using them with the glass but it might be time to make an exception, thanks for the suggestion! didnt even think of it

The very small pipe with the very small bowl is ideal for your circumstances. Or you could scrape all those pipes, add the keif to the resin ball and smoke it all in the bong. That's probably your best bet, depending on how high you intend to get.

 

i figured the small bowl would be best but i cant fit a screen in it and i dont have anything to plug the whole with.. i'll do some scaveging. i keep all my pipes clean so i got no resin to play with, but i do intend to get as high as i can lol

 

i decided on the bubbler with poland spring water, new screen, a scoop of kief per hit, baked.

 

You could've also just used aluminum foil.. sure, there's the health issue.. but I'm pretty sure it's not a few hits that's going to kill you.

im not sure why, but i've spent many a times looking at forums discussing this and noone seems to have figured it out:

FREEBASE THAT SHIT!

it's kief man, it's delicious. don't waste it in a bowl, and especially not a jay. the first time i ever freebased was hash oil, and it was the cleanest high i have ever gotten. you might feel like a crackhead the first few times but its worth it.

set up two cups equal height.

put a strip of tin foil across it

drop a small amount of kief on it with a business card corner or something

pat it flat

spark it up!

i usually use a metal fake cigarette, but i've used all sorts of suckers. trust me, this is so worth it until it kicks your tolerance through the roof. it tastes delicious, and you feel like you're getting a free high. and btw anyone that's worried about the health effects of inhaling vapors from aluminum foil shouldn't be smoking anything. period.

what i do is scoop a little bit of kief into the bowl with a screen or ash on the bottom. Kief hits. smoke that to your dome.

 

no but it will taste like shit which personally i would also consider a waste.
A way my friend does is he adds one or two drops of water into the kief to make it into a bit more of a paste and spreads it over a skin, lets it dry and then rolls a j or cig with the skin

Ok, going to give you the best way to smoke a keif bowl. First of all you can smoke it by it's self but you will inhale more than you burn. Keif will burn by it's self if you light it so unless you are planing on finishing this bowl off in one sitting then don't make it.

Take your bowl and make sure it has a screen for best use. Put a little weed on the bottom, torch the bowl but don't burn up the weed, all you want is a little char on the top. Make sure it's not burning anymore. Pack that down. Now put a layer of keif on the top of that and pack that down. Then put another layer of weed and pack that.

The char layer will help keep it burning at a slow rate so you don't loose all of your keif at once. It keeps it from burning off and gives you a nice steady cherry. This is the best method I have found.

FYI, the best tool I have ever found for pipes is a "pipe tool". It has three prongs. A spike, great for cleaning out stems, a flat end, great for scooping out weed and keif and packing a bowl, and a blade also good for scraping and scooping. I think everyone should have one.

if you're not being sarcastic and are actually confused, i think "skin" is a european term for rolling paper. a skin joint would be quite disgusting (unless it was skin from an attractive person)

but i know you don't have any, so next best: in a small pipe with a screen. you can trim the screen with scissors to fit in the small pipe! pack only one hits worth at a time, and smoke it all. hold it in. straight up kief gives me a weird high. very intense, stupified high followed by groggy burn out and passing out tired. kief is too much smoked by itself, so you really won't need a lot. i smoked like a gram of kief over a week or two when i couldn't get bud. i should have found some mid grade or schwag and topped it off with kief.

 

If i'm smoking keif out of a bowl, one thing I always do is instead of inhaling hard and directlying torching the kief, I softly inhale at a controlled rate so that the flame is just above it but not touching. This makes it burn alot slower.
