do the bullets/buttons contain the same amoun of psilocybin as full grown mushrooms? i've always heard they are more potent but idk...
By bullets do you mean really little mushrooms? Ive heard that there is a point were mushrooms stop producing psilocybin, but keep growing, so little guys are equal to big ones. But thats just street info, i dont know how factual that is.
Ah, you mean aborts. Well the way I understand it, the aborts have a higher concentration of psilocybin per mg of mushroom material, or whatever you want to measure in. However the full mushrooms contain about the same amount of psilocybin until they start to rot and degrade. The only thing is that the psilocybin is more dispersed with mushroom material. So if you get an ounce of aborts, there's a higher concentration of psilocybin in there than with an ounce of full grown mushies. If anyone sees that this is wrong, feel free to correct me
If you mean aborts, then they're way more potent than full-sized mushrooms. At least double. If you mean sclerotia, like Psilocybe Mexicana or Psilocybe Tampanensis, then I'm not 100% sure, but they should be more potent. Should be easy to Google the % of psilocybin/psilocin by weight of P. Cubensis vs P. Tampanensis/P. Mexicana.
I heard the same thing. After mushrooms get to the point of the veil opening, they stop producing psilocybing. Therefore, the bullets would be just as potent as a big mushroom. If we have all gotten the same info across the country, it must be true. or else its a very popular myth. i tried google'ing it but i couldnt find the right words to enter. maybe a link would be a definite answer. any help? btw- abort are smaller than bullets. aborts are reallly tiny bullets that quit growing far before they reached maximum potency
i took an abort, as you so call it and was spinning on the floor for a few little hours. It was under a gram in weight..
Being under a gram doesn't make it an abort. If you only ate one, then it was just a little mushroom. It might take 20-30 aborts dried to make a gram.
This is the correct information, and by aborts I think you guys are using the homegrowing term for pins google using the word pins as apposed to aborts and I'm sure you'll find much more fruitful results. Edit: Just to specify, after rereading I'm not sure if this is what you meant. The pins are in fact more potent per gram, so if you ingest a gram of pins vs. a gram of mature mushrooms you will be taking more psilocybin. If you ever eat a handful of pins you will know what I mean, you will know.
Yea, I agree that a mushroom is most potent before the veil breaks. However leaving the mushrooms to grow a little bigger would mean you get more quantity of psychoactives, it would just be slightly less potent by weight.
No, I mean aborts. They're pins that started to grow, but for one reason or another never made it. The heads usually start to get black.
Yeah, aborts is correct. They are much more potent, so I hear. A friend of mine ate five or six columbian aborts and tripped out pretty hard. I read the report he wrote, it sounded gooooood!
No you don't. They stop producing psilocybin/psilocin as soon as they drop spores. By letting them go farther, you're just growing more mushroom mass with the same amount of psilocybin/psilocin.
Where did ya'll hear this information? Did everybody just hear it through the grapevine or is there a link?
from street info + personal experience [in that order] i've always found closed cap mushrooms to hit hardest.
