I took calculus in college in 1990. Isn't calculus just geometry taken a couple steps further? That's what I thought.
Not sure, even if it can be applied to and explained through geometry. It can also be considered to be an advanced working with functions and change, and even if functions can be represented geometrically (graphically) they are usually seen as part of algebra.
