Hello all, Im new to the forums here and am hoping to get some insight. I am Cancer sun, Pisces moon, and Cancer Venus. My potential new girlfriend is Leo sun, Pisces moon, and Virgo venus. We met online and have been talking for more than 6 months now, and we have gone on a few dates, I have been to her place she has been to mine. I am starting to get a bit frustrated because im romantic from the start and want more than anything to be in love, even though I think she is thinking longterm because she wants to take it slow and be really good friends first. And I get that, friendship should always be high priority. My restlessness comes from me being very sentimental and romantic naturally, for example writing her a song for valentines day. But it seems every time I express myself like this it pushes her back. I am having to force myself to hold back on what I do naturally. Part of me says things will change once she opens up, and the other thought is this is just going to end up as friends. SHe has said she really likes me and makes notions towards not being single because she is seeing me, I just always end up feeling confused or like I did the wrong thing. From my uneducated opinion, opposite signs like water and fire have a 50/50 chance. Cancer's are pretty romantic and emotional while Leos are self-centered and not as compassionate. I think the more water she has in her chart, the better the compatibility, or the more fire you have in yours, the better. Since she has a moon in pisces, I think that would help a little. It also seems your venus's are compatible. It might be hard to find that romantic side to your Leo, but because of your moons and compatible venus's, you both aren't that bad off. You "think" she's there for the long term, but do you know that for sure or are you reading too much into things? All the astrology aside, to me, it sounds like she's not into you romantically. She may like the friendship and attention, but even if you do get together, she'd probably hang you by a string. If I were you, I'd take a step back and lay off on the love songs. If she likes you, she'll make it abundantly clear. Don't worry about your signs, it has nothing to do with anything. It's all about chemistry.
