well, the taste and if it burns going down. Also the smell sometimes. The only guy I buy from when I get it always uses this powder from GNC, I can't remember what it is. It seems to me though, that when you look at cut coke, there are little pieces of white stuff stuck together, and a lot of finer powder. I think the larger clumps are actually the coke for the most part. The reason I say this, I watched a guy cut some pure stuff one time, and the pure stuff was almost moist, it stuck together a lot. He cut it with unscented talc II believe. In the bag after it was cut, the coke was still clumpy with a lit of super fine powder around it.

look for scaling on the rock, if it lacks it, then it is cut for sure big time.

Don't get really white powdery stuff. It should be beige, and like dhs said, it should be scaly and kind of sparkly if you look at it in a light.

and sorry to break it to you but unless you live in south america, every single bit of cocaine you will buy is cut, thats just a sad fact of life. doesn't matter if the guy has a rock of it and you watch him cut it, its already been cut at least twice before it got north of mexico. it might be high grade, maybe less cut, but all coke north of mexico is cut.
