Is it ok to do this on yourself if you can't find anyone to do it for you? Also, Where can I get the best one-step needle plus bar to do this piercing? I want to put the piercing right behind the head of my penis thru the shaft but below all the important nerves and such. Does anyone here have any experience with this? Thanks

done quite a bit of reading up on this type of piercing. Yes, it is extreme but knowing the anatomy helps and I think it should be quite easy to miss all the sensitive parts, thus doing no real damage. I hear that it can bleed quite a bit but that will help cleanse the area. BTW, Can anyone tell me where I can find large diameter closed ring jewelry? I plan on using a closed ring piece in this piercing but I can't find anything that has a large enough diameter for when I am erect...

Of course you shouldnt do this by yourself, there are more nerves in your dick then just the ones in the head, and you have alot of very vital structures in your dick below the head that you could damage but penitrating them with a needle. as for your jewelry choice, thats rediculus, it would get caught on everything, if you are infact dumb enough to do this you should only use a barbell.

Well considering that my boyfriend is a piercer, I do consider myself educated on the topic, I relayed what he had to say on the topic.

Why dont you go to a professional? I dont know you location but if you go to www.bmezine.com you can find lists of good shops. I'm telling you from experience here, thats not a piercing to mess up.
Do you know why this is a "extremely rare" piercing? Because it it hard to execute, you need to have custom jewelry made for it and it tends to cause problems during intercourse.
Please find a professional, a good one; a basic knowledge of anatomy will not safeguard you against potentially hazardous errors... It can be done at home, but you really need to know what you are doing.

But yes, I did find a professional to do it.. Thanks for all the outcry over me thinking I could do it myself.. I actually came very close to doing it myself but there was no way.. I did get it done at a place in Colorado Springs, call Shrap Metal by Piercer Mike.. He did a great job and knew exactly what he was doing.. It did hurt like a mother though, only for a second then the pain was gone. I didn't even realize it hurt until he was done.. I'm healing now and following the strict aftercare instructions..
