DMT extraction mimosa hostilis root bark

any one here got a good method on extracting this stuff? i saw sumone on here once say that if i put naptha in freezer dmt crystal izes or sumthing i dunno i saw sum teks but does anyone have any other methods they useds

 

soak in weak aq. acid soln & filter 9(or settle & decant)
add enough base soln (NaOH) to turn cloudy
swirl w/ naphtha 3x
evap much of the combined naphtha layers & stick in a ziplock & chill in deep-freeze
dry the resultant crystals on a paper towel & then gently vaporize 'em in a suitable smoking vessel... (better be sitting or lying down --- a chunk the size of a lentil or split pea is prolly ~ 25 mg or so -- enough for the first 2 tokes --> if'n ya want more, well go for it, heh...)

So folks swim has access to 95% abv that she makes, food grade lye and citric acid...make an acidic solution of citric acid and shine...then add in the lye...anyone have amounts? she has advanced stilling and brewing skills. anyone willing to fill in the gaps my cat can pass the message along to her.


O and can the same thing be done for rue?

 

ph2 should be good for the acid step, for the basification you need to raise the ph to at least 13 for best yields, some people say 13.5. I always add base till it turns gray then black like used motor oil, then a little extra for good measure. Last batch of dmt i was very careful with the washing and recrystallization and it came out looking like shards of glass, like ice methamphetamine looks, then i did another pull with toluene to get the jungle spice.

 

can she use high proof for the wash? have a solid method for maoi extract? beside a long as boil...know anyone that does cacti extraction? she has 200+ feet of san pedro

 

i would use distilled water instead of the alcohol, water as polar solvent and naptha for the nonpolar.

 

why not ethanol and then evaporate? do you need a nonpolar for mesc?

 

I suppose its possible to use ethanol for that step, but theres no proof, as in I have never done it and have never seen it done that way and the process come out successful. I have performed the process numerous of times using water and vinegar, and water and hydrochloric acid solution for the acid cook, then a naptha or toluene defat, followed by a naptha pull which is repeated until yields drop on the pullls. The pulls are combined and washed with a basic solution of distilled water and sodium carbonate which is seperated from the organic solvent and thrown away. The wash may be repeated and the organic solvent placed in very cold freezer to freeze precipitate the crystals which will come out white or glass clear if you've done all the steps carefully and have a very clean extract.

As to needing a nonpolar solvent for mescaline extraction if thats what you are referring to, I do not have any experience extracting mescaline but have done the research and it seems xylene or toluene are acceptable solvents for mescaline extraction.

I don't need anything pure just something clean and easy to handle. I was thinking 93% ethanol with citric acid in a freezer. Prob use 4 feet of san Pedro skins from 7-9 year old cacti. Dry skins after pre freezing, grind, add to jars, add citric acid and ethanol...shake 5 times a day for a week... Filter on to a stainless pan evaporate. I think ethanol isn't used because ppl a. Don't run a 15.5 gallon still b. not cost effective to buy ethanol....might add pectic enzyme to break up the cell matter further even though freezing took care of most of it. Idk what ya think?

 

it can't be ethanol, because ethanol I don't think will seperate from naptha properly but im confused as to whether you are asking for information about mescaline extraction, dmt extraction or both.

 

Above is for mesc...no naptha...I was asking for dmt doing a/b tek being my first question. Two molecules 2 different teks.

 

D-limonene. Know a cheap place to obtain it besides eBay . Non polar non toxic. Costs more than regulars solvents but it is bio degradable and nontoxic.
