They always make me yawn loudly and repeatedly and I can always fall asleep at any point during, especially the peak. I never have though, too much fun to be had :D I've also noticed that the quality of the yawn will affect how good I feel. Like the yawns seem to propel me deeper into my trip and the further in, the more deep the yawns become themselves. It just feels so good to do it and it seems like it builds up like a sneeze until I feel compelled to do it. I'm not sure if i've encountered anyone else that this happens to..

I yawn like crazy on tryptamines, I also see it as tied in to the developments in my mind.

I yawn on shrooms but I have not analyzed the yawn and subsequent effects relationships at any great depth.

I haven't eaten shrooms in a while, but I do remember the yawns they caused. When I take mushrooms I feel a flood of different emotions at one time (thats when I usually yawn). I always thought of it as a subconscious way of reminding myself to breathe.

They make me yawn and feel really tired on the comeup, also they can produce a decent amount of tears and phlegm throughout the whole trip.

Funny, that is (from my understanding) exactly what a yawn is.

And ya, I did a bit during my last experience, on the come up and after the peak, but not at the peak, I was too enthralled.

I too have found that I yawn constantly while on mushrooms. Yawns are regulated by the serotonin system, so it is no surprise that a drug that affects that system would have an effect on yawning.

i always thought that the yawns was the bodys way of getting fresh blood to the brain, so every yawn brings on the trip a stage deeper. i yawn so hard sometimes i get cramp in my jaw or under my chin from stretchin my mouth so wide open from the yawn an my eyes constantly water from it.

yawning has nothing to do with circulation or the brain in that way. It's your body's way of getting oxygen into your bloodstream because your breathing has been lowered, because you are tired or are on drugs.

Breathing is controlled by medulla oblongatta isn't it? And the way your body knows when to breath is excess levels of CO2 and less oxygen in your circulatory system.
Yawning is a way to get more oxygen into your system, not just your brain, but that is part of it, and it is initiated as a response by your brain because you basically have forgotten to take deep breaths enough times.
No, this shouldn't delve you into a deeper trip, your brain doesn't start operating on some new level with an influx of oxygen if I am not mistaken.

but doesnt your blood charged with extra oxygen also carry the shroom jiuce to your brain an thats why one feels more out of it after each yawn or is it just the trip getting stronger regardless of yawning?
Ive found the same yawning thing happens on Hawaiian baby woodrose seeds too.
