    Hello,

These pasts few weeks the desire to travel has ignited within me. The desire has been there since my early boyhood, and I have always acted on that. First my backyard was a place of exploration, then as I grew older it became the woods, then further in the woods and eventually the next town.

Now I work and go to school, so I'm in the same town a lot. Yet on my days off, I find freedom in riding my bike 25 miles to the lake, to explore and to discover.

Yet a few weeks ago I began feeling the need to see the country, with a friend of mine. We talked about it one day as we travelled the railroad tracks, and dreamed together of travel. I thought it would be another thought done astray; but it was not just a thought, a dream was born.

The feeling was not ignorable. This past few weeks, I've talked to everyone I can about the road. I've been researching fares and back packs, and everything I think I might need.

I will be leaving July 09 and coming home in the fall. We hope to make our way from Michigan to the west coast.

Good luck man. I hear you though. I grew up in Massachusetts, and I needed OUT. Went to south carolina. Lived there. Lived up in Maine. back in Mass. Utah, back to south carolina. Now I'm in Utah again. There is so much to see. Great to see someone who wants to explore. My thing was I was trying to escape, but your problems always follow you. Good luck on your travels!
