Good movies to watch while tripping on shrooms and/or acid

alright, this weekend me and my freind are gonna be tripping on shrooms now one of our favorite movies is The Nightmare Before Christmas so we were wondering if that was a good one to watch (and we are very possibly getting some acid too) and if anyone has any good sugggestions for a movie to whatch while tripping on shrooms or acid. were also into dark creepy movies but nothing scary or threataning cause we dont want to have a bad trip. its rare that we ever get shrooms and acid so we gotta make it worth it!

 

Personally I'd say go outside and do the shrooms and enjoy nature. Buuut I know sometimes that isn't possible so...I'd say some kind of cartoon maybe. I know it's cliche, but Alice In Wonderland is a something else on shrooms...But I voted for Yellow Submarine, because even though I haven't seen that on Shrooms or Acid, it'd be pretty trippy I know that, hehe.

 

well we plan on watching the movie THEN goin outside and see what happens

 

yeah maybe watch it coming up so you dont waste too much time.

 

i definitley wouldnt watch requiem trippin....thats like masochist haha. that would definitley not sit well with me if i was trippin.

for real though, why watch movies tripping? go do something real.

 

The Grateful Dead Movie and Yellow Submarine are fuckin unbelievable on acid...

The last time I shroomed i rented these 2 movies with my friends and we watched them at one of their houses. Lost our minds.

 

haha the mupet movie! of course.

 

alice in wonderland is good cuz its a cartoon, it has a swirling colors/a good plot/different stories, and it has music.

 

Half-Baked is pretty good. I watched it the first time I shroomed and it was hilarious, and the colors in their apartment are crazy; the whole apartment just seems to melt together.

As for the list.......I voted for Fantasia. Music, crazy colors, and trippy subject matter.

 

watching family guy is one of the best things Ive seen while tripping, especially during the peek. bright colors, continuously changing random plots, mega-hilarity!

 

None of the above. Walk outside and enjoy the world. That said. Clive Barker's Lord of Illusions widescreen is excellent on a medium dose.

 

Movie: District B13

I watched the documentary "What We Still Don't Know About The Cosmos" on acid, seemed decent. It's a bit slow though.

It was suggested go out and enjoy nature and such. That's a great idea but as in my case I'm in the city and until I become more familar with how shrooms/acid hit me, inside it is just to be safe and safe for others. Not that being extremely friendly and laughing a lot is a horrid thing.

Me and some friends were all tripping on acid or mushrooms, and we just had the cable tv on. Anyway The Cable Guy with Jim Carrey came on and we're all like this movie sucks, but no one moved to change it. Anyway on acid and shrooms this movie becomes good. Halfway through I'm like "You know, last time I saw this, it sucked, but right now, its pretty good" We all debated this and came to the conclusion that its good on hallucinogens because Jim Carreys a fucking nutcase, and hilarious to watch. Especially the medieval fight scene.
