"Since marriage we've walked in on people and vice versa. My wife loves to time it so I walk in on her. She likes me to return the favor, my timing is never as good as hers except once when I shocked her and a few friends. Hey, she was supposed to be walking in the door alone."

After the above occurred my wife said she had the hardest time being around that group of friends. She commented that she was between being embarrassed, turned on by it, wanting to talk about it with them but scared to death to know what they thought and if any of them had shared it with others, wanting to avoid them, and spilling our sex details to get them to do likewise about their sex lives. The 2nd, 3rd, and last over road the other two over time.

I seldom ran across the ladies, and totally avoided their husband (didn't see them much either).

When my wife had a sit down sex chat with them she opened up about a few things she wished she had other female friends to talk with about. That opened the door for a great group discussion according to her. Then out popped the question about the walk in. My wife was relived to have that out in the open finding out that they all wished their husband's were Sparky (as they put it). They are helping each other with more marital and sex talk than ever.

I have not run across them except for the occasional wave. I have not been home any time any of them have been over. It will be interesting to see how comfortable it is when it happens, not that I am ashamed but it was meant for my wife not others. The unplanned stuff can certainly create some interesting dynamics.

 

Once you see it you can't unsee it; once it's done, it cannot be undone. You can deal with it in a positive way and as it appears you and your wife have done or, as probably most people would do, get their panties in a bunch over seeing something that they know good and damned well people do: Have sex. But since we've always held as the immutable truth that sex is supposed to be private, well, if you don't ever want to get walked in on and being seen having sex, lock the door.

 

I guess I live a pretty "vanilla" life, because I can not imagine any scenario where my wife or I would walk in on friends (or strangers) having sex.
