Ok there was a big fight at school today and while it was going on, i snuck outside and smoked. While i was out there the football coach/histoyr teacher (who hates anyone not on the football team or sucking the teet of the football team) walks out and says you're getting paddled today. So I go all day knowing this and i got outside again to smoke, but this time the prinicpal comes outside and says "Dammit Neal you're retarded, i'm gonna bust your ass." Needless to say he did bust my ass and almost broke a paddle over it.

Um, isn't that illegal? He called you retarded and hit you? I really don't think principals are allowed to do that anymore...

Well despite our paddling, our school is the shit. We get ultra cheap good lunches, field trips like every 2 monthes minimum, and we are ranked 9th highest in the state. Also we only have 320 students.

You're blowing it out of proportion. He gives you a chose, paddling or 3 days of ISS. I'd personally rahter get my ass hit that your modern punishment of 3 days of detention.

Well, if you don't have a problem with it then, whatever...but I have a problem with someone having the legal capability to hit MY child. So, thanks for starting this thread, now I can find out if my state allows it.

For christ's sake, corporal punishment isn;t all that bad, hell it works better than time out. I would much rather have my child spanked than to have his right to talk to others at school taken for 3 days.

Honestly, I would'nt take that shit. I'd fucking stroll right into ISS, no fucking problem. When you give in like that, you're giving him that power he wants. You're letting him humiliate you, treating you like you're a child. I say keep your pride and take the iss, as boring as it may seem.

This is just WRONG! Corporal punishment is illegal in my state. It should be everywhere. Hitting does not teach children what they should be doing right, how to do things right, how to right their "wrongs" or how to make a better person of themselves. IT IS ABUSE. It is really sad to see an abused child who actually BELEIVES that he deserves the abuse.

This causes an endless cycle of these kids them abusing their own children. Damn dangerous stuff.

NO CHILD SHOULD EVER BE HIT.

You should choke that principal with your cock. That'll teach him to respect you authority.

Unless you find your kid selling drugs without giving you your cut. Then it's time for the belt.

It isn't all that bad?!? All hitting a child does is reinforce that hit is right...you hit to get what you want, and you hit to get someone to do what you want. You teach with love and respect...not violence.

I've never seen love stop a kid from being a little jackass.

I've never seen hitting a child work, either. All hitting a child does is breed fear, resentment, oh and more violence.

I have. And so have most people who have either adopted or fostered previously abused children. Not only that I have seen MORE violence turn children into "little jackasses" who think it is OK to harm others to get what they want. NO ONE wins when children get hit.

They aren't. Sounds like a lawsuit to me! Abused for what was it? A quick smoke? And it wasn't even weed? A judge will laugh that out of his court AFTER he awards YOU money! Get an Lawyer. Even if you have to let your parents find out you smoke, you got HURT by someone trusted to protect you in school.
