Hey guys. The last few stoning sessions I've had, the joints haven't been pulling so good and it's really annoying me because it's alot of hard work. I was wondering whether anyone could give us some advice on what it might be. The joints never really go out, they just won't burn easily and you really have to suck hard *ahem* which isn't ideal when you're trying to bloody relax and get stoned. The joints being rolled too tight? Too loose? The roach being rolled too tight/too loose? I roll with a rolling machine. This started happening with the last batch of weed I got, although that was a little wet and not the best quality. The current batch seems fine though, and doesn't seem wet at all so I am a little confused as to why it's being such a bastard to pull. Seems that the first inch or so of the joint always burns fine, but then it won't pull for most of the rest of it, until it gets within a couple of inches of the roach and then it starts to pull fine again.
if the weed is wet you have to roll it more loose. try putting a bit less weed in the rolling machine maybe, also you might not be chopping the weed up well enough. Tobacco always helps a joint burn better to.
fuck rolling machines. learn to freehand that shit. theres nothing like sitting back enjoying a joint that is all ur own.
You could be getting the end of the joint wet with your lips too causing it to almost seal off the end of the jay. A solution that always has worked in the past for me if this happens is to take a small peice of cardboard (aka rip off a little rectancular peice of cardboard off your pack of papers) and roll it up into almost a filter. Then insert it into the end of the joint that your mouth goes on and it will keep the end open.
yeah, its either rolled too tightly (very common with rolling machines) or the pot is wet, or its both. rolling with a machine shouldnt be a lot of work. if you insist on rolling with a machine instead of by hand, make sure the pot is as evenly distributed as possible before you turn the wheels at all. turn as little as possible, it only makes the joint tighter. when the paper goes in to the gum, lick the gum, and turn the wheels only half-way round. if you roll it more, it will get tighter. try rolling as loose as you can with the machine. its way too easy to roll too tightly with a machine, eveny if they come out in a nearly perfect shape. remember, while rolling paper and machine brands like top, joker, zig-zag, and so on are often used for constructing joints, they are actually brands of tobacco-related products, and the machines really ARE designed to be used for cigarette tobacco, which has very different properties from pot. cigarette tobacco can be rolled a lot denser and tighter than pot and still hit just fine. pot....well...it may or may not even stay lit if its too tight, and you sure wont get too much smoke per hit if you can hit it if its too tighht..
ur prob not breaking the weed up good enough. whenever i get really fucked and try rollin to a j im always to lazy and end up barly breakin it up and my joints never burn right, usally the paper will just burn instead of the weed. or ur just rollin it ways to tight
it could be any of the following A. rolled too tight- roll it yourself B. not spun enough- add more tobacco C.not chopped enough - get down with those scissors
