The ball keeping the piercing in keeps getting loose and falling off. It finally disapeared today being its fourth time falling off after getting it pierced. I was very happy an earing backing fit the piece to temperarily keep it in place. I guess chewing on that metal piece inside my mouth does not help keep it in place...

Did any of you guys end up losing the little ball?

use a paper towel for grip to really get it threaded on tightly

yeah, i did all the time....that was also how i ended up swallowing my tounge ring.....
the threads on your post or ball are probably stripped....that's what happened to mine.

That happens all the time when I wear studs, but I'm determined to stop that. So I just check it every so often to see if its loose and screw it back in.

yeah happened on my lip ring when i didn't wear a ring, i swallowed the damn shaft and had to run back home and put in a ring before my first class of the day. sucked balls. all i can recommend is to wear rings, or maybe a longer shaft (that allows more room, so the ball isnt unscrewing itself on your skin so much)

Get a longer bar for your lip. Chewing and playing with the back loosens the ball....it did mine, anyway. So, I put the bar used to pierce it with....which was a bit longer for the swelling that may have occured, and my ball stopped loosening itself.

I had a real problem last year with my labret, first my bar was too long. (the one they peirce with is long for swelling) and it was pushing on my gums slowly so i got a shorter bar and then the ball kept falling off, i found that some of the threads on the balls kind of strip of like a screw when you tighten them a lot. so I had to just spend more money and get a new bar and ball with fresh threads on them.
