It is normal and healthy. What the hell is the guy supposed to do about it anyway?

If he gets hard while he's looking at you, it means he likes the way you look. It's better than having him think you are ugly.

first time I went to a nudist beach, i felt a rush, goosebumps and all, but didnt get a full erection, I was very happy to be there, but a little selfconcious, I guess...

 

no. it never bothers me if a guy gets a boner. it's not like they can help it. it's a natural thing.

 

Depends on the circumstances. I would be disappointed if i stay at the beach with my boyfriend and he won't get a boner the whole day *lol*

I also dont't care if someone else gets hard, as long as it happens in the right setting he behaves adequate. Just lying there with a boner usually is nothing to worry about i guess as long as adults are around. And is's a sign that all works fine, he feels good and is healthy.

But i hate those beer-belly guys only going to the beach to look at naked young chicks (or worse, at children) just to become aroused and show off their hardons. If i see this, i really feel bothered!

If you go to the beach with men for the whole day maybe some will eventually fall asleep. I guess i never was with a guy who didn't get hard while sleeping, probably cause of nice dreams. I think this is kind of sweet and i always wonder about his dreams' story then. Unfortunately, if you ask later about, they can't remember usually.

If you are unsure, if the people you go to the beach with will find it ok to see you with a woody, i propose just to ask. You then know if you can let it happen if your mood turns this way or if you better turn on your belly or grab a towel to cover. Snuggling with a friend also minimizes what others can see, and it's a good feeling for both.

Wreck Beach is strewn with logs and deadheads, so getting wood isn't a problem, except that campfires are prohibited.

 

it is completely natural. I don't mind seeing a guy with an erection at the beach. When it happens most women notice and look, but don't make a big deal about it. I have had guys come over and talk to me and get an erection. I just act like nothing is happening. Once I said something cute and he was more comfortable afterward. I think a man reveals alot about his level of confidence (AMONG OTHER THINGS) if he can just walk on the beach when he is in that condition. Very confident and strong. Who are the people who get offended? It is a compliment i think, especially when it happens while he is talking to you!

I find that most worthwhile males are enough in control of their bodily urges not to sport a hard-on every time the wind blows. The ones who get erections on nude beaches are usually beer-bellied, hairy, older stalkerish-swingerish types. Ew and ugh.

 

I agree with you and pixy- and these kind of socially inadequate men wonder why so few women sunbathe topless or go nude on beaches.

 

Agree totally, Alexandra. And there are plenty of those undesirable types at my local nudist beach, wandering up and down the dunes, hiding behind bushes, making signs...

A few have the type of body to die for (i.e. no pot bellies on those show-ponies and admirers from either gender!), but the majority are exactly as you have described: we know them as not nudists, but fuckwits and serial pests. The organisation I am a member of that "caretakes" the beach has been trying for years to get these guys out of the dunes and/or off the beach (wandering around with hard-ons), but police shortages etc make it very challenging, even though Shire councillors support the presence of the beach for nudists irrespective of it being a gay haunt (something that mysteriously terrifies uber-conservative local residents!). Incidentally, be it noted, that more serious sexual assaults recently have been taking place on textile beaches, not the nudist beach, so the only issue we are working on over summer is the guys trawling the dunes and the beach looking for titillation.

If you can, try not to be so judgmental towards them. They are just people, just like you. Do you think that they want to appear repulsive and disgusting to cute girls? The answer is no. And everything you said about them is based on first impressions. How do you know that you wouldn't like any of them if you got to know them?

I know a few guys who fit that physical description, and I find that they have much more to offer than most shallow young hotties. Older men generally have much more respect for women than young jocks, and they all look alike in the dark.

Unless you die young, you will be old and ugly someday. Will you want people to talk shit about you then? I think not. You will be the same person then that you are now. Maybe a better person. Just something to think about...

 

Most of the men I have gone to nude beaches with get erections while there. What I have noticed is that it seems as if one man sees others with erections, he is more likely to have an erection. One of my friends said to me that if he sees other guys with erections, that is an indication to him that it is OK to have an erection and he stops whatever mental preventative measures he's taking.

As for me, I am flattered if a guy has an erection at the nude beach - especially if he is eyeing me or chatting with me. I take it as a compliment that he finds me attractive. On more than one occasion, I've met a guy at a nude beach, he wasn't erect, but after chatting for a while, I'd steer the conversation to the issue of erections and guess what? He'd get erect. I don't think we should be judgemental on appearance and often good looks are accompanied by uninteresting personality. Older men generally do have more respect for women- there are exceptions, and they deserve criticism for their behaviour. The kind of men Alexandra dislikes, if I have understood her correctly, are the very men who are the most disappointed at the low number of women who frequent nude beaches. Go to a nude beach in France and there are no 'meerkats' and people walk along a beach to get food, drink or to arrive/leave.

 

I also didn't think Alexandra was damning all older fatties - just the ones who embarrass everyone by displaying their erect members in public. Personally I would want to cover up or lie on my front for a while, but actually I rarely find myself getting stiff on the beach. It happens much less than neophytes imagine. Anyway this is a really tired subject, can't we move on?

 

I think I'd be interested for sure but I feel as though it could be scary intense if they came close maybe. In the water would be less scary though.

 

I used to go to the nude beach all the time when I was living down in Miami. I would say at an average of 3 days a week of going there, I cant remember not seeing at least one guy with a erection. In all honesty I dont see what the problem with it is, even if he is creepy, its not the penis's fault that its owner is a creep. The way I look at the situation is, if one is naked, espically around others then it will by the law of probability happen at some point. It is the same as us girls getting erect nipples or the dreaded wetness, LOL. I personally havent really ever been offended by seeing a guy with a hardon, but here again, everybody may not appreciate looking at me and I could care less because being a nudist isnt about popular opinion, it is about what I get out of the lifestyle and how it makes ME feel.
