Mimosa hostilis extract without chemicals

Can someone post a recipe to extract DMT from Mimosa hostilis for smoking without the use of harsh chemicals?

It's called Ayahuasca.

That's as close as you are going to get.

You can use lemons for the acid.

 

I saw a recipe somewhere that had some less volatile chemicals. If I located it I'll post it.

Question: Why wouldn't you use the harsh chemicals? Provided you understand what they are, ensure they are pure; the safety in their use is quite fine.

 

Well in every extraction you need a non-polar solvent, an acid and a base. People usually use ammonia or lye for their base, naphtha for the non-polar solvent (easy to obtain as lighter fluid), and Muriatic Acid/HCl Acid for the acid.

If you attempt to do an extraction using the easiest stuff, as fast as possible and without doing any research on your own, you aren't going to get anything good. You need to be careful, and deliberate, and get the materials necessary. If you can't or don't want to put the time into doing that, then DMT extraction isn't for you.

i'm sceptical about using ammonia and whatnot to extract DMT
if only there was an easier/simpler way

like i get it when people say you have to extract it yourself to get the full respect and all that for the plant and the drug, but i don't wanna the unlucky statistic that misses a step and ends up on a metal table in a corrinor's office

 

chemical extractions do not show respect for the plant. Ayahuasca is traditionally an oral potion, it makes you puke, and crap, and see things, and it takes more than just DMT. I suppose you can do your own alchemy with the plant and extract the chemicals if you must, but that is not really any more respectful than paying someone else to do it.

i like the idea of smoking it rather than injesting it
since the effects are for a shorter lenght of time
and i don't wanna be pukin and whatever while i'm trying to have this experience

if anyone knows any recipes that don't have such toxic chemicals and are easier to use/read and get the job done, i don't care how long the process takes, i just don't like the idea of ammonia and HCl in the extraction, you dig?

 

you can't get a freebase, which is the only form in which DMT or any alkaloid chemical is smokable, without some harsh chemicals. Ammonia and HCl are actually the least of your worries, naptha, or whatever other non-polar solvent you use is the most toxic ingredient in the whole brew, and also the most likely to actually bind to the DMT so that you end up inhaling it. Acid base extractions are a very basic form of chemistry and any recipe to extract DMT, or any other alkaloid, into a free base is going to follow a very simple format that goes as follows

Make a solution containing the alkaloid in salt form (probably tea from Mimosa in the case of DMT) add a non-polar solvent (also known as a "puller" by meth makers) and a base. Ammonia is one base, there are others, and if you do some research you might be able to find one you are comfortable with, the most "natural" one I know of is urea, which is a chemical extracted from urine. Shake well, and then allow to separate, the separation process should take quite some time to ensure that it has separated completely, then pour off the polar solution (the mimosa tea) and keep the non-polar solvent, allow the solvent to evaporate completely, take the resulting goo that is left and vaporize and smoke it. The biggest issue isn't really the base that you use to break the bonds of the DMT salts, it is ensuring that you have a solvent which evaporates cleanly and completely. People suggest naptha, which is sold as lighter fluid for zippo's and such. However Naptha does not evaporate cleanly. One way to test is to take your solvent, without anything extracted into it, let a small amount sit until it has completely evaporated, and then make certain there is no sticky residue whatsoever. Although this is pretty easy chemistry, not like the processes required to make LSD or MDMA or anything else complex it is important to understand what you are doing and why. DMT is present in various plant materials as a salt, that is a combination of an acid and a base, if a new base is introduced into a solution containing salts, and this new base binds more powerfully to the acids in the dmt salts, it will break the bonds and release the DMT, combining with the acids instead. Salts are polar, and thus dissolve easily in water, but do not dissolve at all in non-polar solvents such as naptha and toluene. Free bases are non-polar and do not dissolve in water, however they do dissolve in non-polar solvents. After the dmt salts have their bonds broken the DMT will not dissolve in the water, being a non-polar compound, and dissolves in the solvent instead.

That's an acid base extraction, and it is used to get DXM out of cough syrup (with a later redissolving step, as DXM is not active if smoked) to purify methamphetemine, to extract LSA as a pre-step to making LSD, and for many other things. It is a useful process to be familiar with if you plan on doing any sort of alchemy, however it is not possible without some fairly harsh and dangerous chemicals, and anyone who suggests otherwise is lying to you.

 

Ok the most natural way your gonna get DMT is through preparing the ayahuasca. Try Making a solution of 1 part lamon juice to 2 parts water. You can use 20 grams yellow caapi and 20 grams mimosa. break apart your caapi with a hammer and pliers and take the chunks and coffee grind them. The mimosa will break up with pliers or by hand. do the same. I recommend 40 grams of each, but for you begginers I would play it safe. Dont Bother with the viridis or chracurna. The mimosa will be a guaruntee. At least defiinetly for me! mix the powdered vine and bark together and pour into stainless steal pot. pour in mixed solution of lemon juice and water enough to just cover the powder like milky mud or something not to much moisture put enough to seethe in the boil. Bring potion to a hard boil and allow to boil only a few minutes at the most. Stirs and bring to a cool. Pour contents through a baking strainer used to sift flour. (Its a metal half sphere screen with a handle) you can find them at the local grocery store. Use a spoon to squish down the plant material and releave it of any excess moisture. pour plant material back into the pot for a 2 more boils in the same fashion, for a total of 3 boils. Gather all 3 boils and strain through a resuable coffee filter and then bottle.
Grind 3 grams of syrian rue and extract using the same method but use a smaller pot or pan.
Drink the rue 30 min before consuming the ayahuasca. Do all your smoking before consuming due to the guarunteed purging. You need to hold it down for as long as you can to get as much as you can! If your gonna do 20 grams, split your ayahuasca into 2 doses and drink your first dose. The lemon juice helps with the taste. lay down and try not to move for at least an hour. If You havent puked by 1 hr get up and smoke. If you can get passed a cig and/or J, you are ready for your next dose. If you puke, smoke when your done to make sure your done, you dont want to lose your next dose.
Drink the last part of you potion and lay down and try not to move or you will hurl it up. 6-8hrs. do at nite and pretend you are asleep! e!

 

What if? we use the process above only using the mimosa bark. boil the powdered bark, make the juice, then take the juice and cook on a hot plate on very low heat for many hours till we get goopy sludge and the dry very carefully. Do you think that you could smoke the dried material for DMT activity?

 

What about making a potion of just the powdered mimosa. Taking the potion and cooking on a hot plate with very low heat for many hours till you get damp plant goop. dry the goop very carefully then smoke. Do you think this is a probable theory?

 

How to easily make DMT:

Break 1-Pound of Mimosa Hostilis rootbark into 2" pieces and grind it all up in a glass-topped blender, a little at a time.

Polar Extraction: Premix in an empty 1-Gallon plastic jug: 1-Quart White Vinegar & 3-Quarts Water. Put the ground up Mimosa in a 3-Liter crockpot, then fill it with the water-vinegar solution. Stir well and turn it on "high". After 2 hours, remove the crockpot ceramic liner, hold the lid on slightly offset, and pour off most of the liquid into a 1-gallon wide-mouthed glass or stainless container. Add the remaining water-vinegar solution to the crockpot again. Stir well and turn it on "high". After 2 hours, remove the crockpot ceramic liner, hold the lid on slightly offset, and pour off all of the liquid into the same container again. Discard the rootbark fiber and save the two combined extractions in the 1-gallon container. Allow the vegetable particles in the extraction in the 1-gallon container to settle to the bottom overnight. Then pour off the liquid into an empty 1-Gallon glass wine jug, being careful not to pour off any of the vegetable sludge at the bottom. Discard the sludge and keep the contents of the wine jug.

Basification: Premix in advance a solution of: 5 Tablespoons (63grams) of Sodium Hydroxide ("Red Devil" lye) with 1-Pint of WARM Water. Stir well. Slowly add this solution to the wine jug, then cap the jug. Gently tilt the wine jug back and forth for 1 full minute to mix the contents.

Nonpolar Extraction: Add 250ml of (Ace Hardware)VM&P Naptha to the wine jug. Add exactly enough warm water to the jug to raise the liquid level to an inch below the top, then cap the jug. Gently tilt the wine jug slowly back and forth for 5 full minutes to mix the contents. Allow the jug to sit undisturbed on a table for at least 4 hours. There should now be two layers visible in the jug, a lower dark one and a smaller clear one on top filling the neck of the jug. Use a glass turkey baster to suck up the top clear layer into a pint mason jar. Be careful not to suck up any of the lower brown/black layer into the mason jar.

Freeze-precipitation/wash: place the sealed mason jar in a FREEZER for 3 days to precipitate the crystals. Prepare a filter setup by placing a funnel into a quart mason jar and putting a small coffee filter paper into the funnel. Shake the naptha in the mason jar strongly to stir up all the crystals at the bottom and quickly pour while still very cold into the funnel for filtering. Impure yellow-white DMT crystals will be seen on the coffee filter paper. Allow the crystals to completely dry out on the filter paper in the funnel. Premix a wash solution by mixing equal parts of Distilled Water and NON-SOAPY clear Ammonium Hydroxide(Ace Hardware Janitorial Strength Ammonia) into a pint container. Slowly pour 100ml of the wash solution over the crystals (still in the filter paper) to wash them. Remove the filter paper from the funnel, spread it out flat and allow the crystals to COMPLETELY dry out. You will now have 2-1/2 grams of white crystal DMT. At least 50 strong doses. Mix it with some parsley and smoke a little in your favorite pipe!

 

Neither of these boil and dry processes will work because the DMT is in the form of salts, and salts are not smokable. The DMT has to be extracted into a freebase ( as in the process you describe below these two posts)

 

Crude freebasing is relatively easy. Just visit your local crack dealer for tips.

 

crack dealers + DMT = BAD trip. plus cocaine is a very different substance than mimosa tea. It has already undergone an acid base extraction.

Freebasing DMT HCl, is exactly the same as freebasing Cocaine (= Cocaine HCl) into crack (Freebase Cocaine).

Anyways, I was referring to some specific post. Every single DMT extraction guide that I've seen shows you how to extract it as a freebase.

 

i have to agree with this... the only thing smoking the seeds directly does for me is give me a really unsettling heavy feeling in my lungs. i think that smoking any sort of seed is generally a bad idea. ingesting lasts longer too which is a good thing depending on your point of view. :devil:

 

Is there a tek for Ayahuasca that produces a lighter than average experience?
I know a person that is inexperienced, but very interested. She has experienced wanting to start off light and would also want to do the same if trying it with her for my first time.
