Has anyone here gotten this done before? And here's the predictable question: did it hurt? I guess it obviously would hurt more since the skin is thicker than most other pierce-able places.
I've had my nape piercing (done with a surface bar to minimize regection) for about 9 months. I love it. Although they are considered to be a very difficult piercing to heal mine healed quite fast. It was slightly uncomfortable at first for sleeping and such but now it just fine. Every once in a while my hair gets caught on it and that is quite painful. As for pain (I hate this question) I can't tell you if it was painful for me because I love that "pain" that comes from piercings. This is why I have and continue to get piercings. It's not like I didn't feel it, I felt it but in my opinion it was a good feeling. Here's 2 pictures of my nape piercing. Sorry about the size.
i work with a girl whose nape got ripped out from her hair getting caught in it..i say wear your hair up always, show it off
I came into this thread to see what the hell a Nape piercing was... and damn those things are ugly... but just my opinion...
I cant tell if i like them or not...I like the fact they remind me of a vampire bite, but if i was touching someones neck and felt that all of a sudden id get scared. But I dont think it looks too bad, i guess...I have seen that type of peircing in the front on someones chest that looked weird to me.
