I get them alot, and am usually down for hours in pain. I got one at school and was literally crying as my bf tried to find some painkillers.

Any natural remedies, I hate taking lots of ibuprofen/tylenol/drugs at all.

    Thanks!

YES! but you may have to try several things before you find one that works.

feverfew works for like 80% of people that use it. it's worked for me before.

    5-htp.. works pretty good too.

try those and if they don't work feel free to PM me... and i'll give ya some more ideas on what you can try.

    DRINK MORE WATER!

Yeah, the above advice is good. I do suggest plenty of water.

When I get them I just try to sleep them off. Good early nights, or a nap on the couch- whatever.

Let your body rehydrate itself, then sleep and let it refocus its attentions lol. I know it sounds stupid and obvious, but from personal experience I am able to get rid of a headache best when I try to forget about it.

Sorry to hear about it though, a belated feel better and one for future pains :(

Years ago I went into an Asian herb store in Boston and asked for a remedy for this awful heartburn type of feeling I used to get in my chest. They recommended a product labeled "curing pill" which was made as tea. It seemed to help. I used to make it for bad headaches too. There has to be something out there for you.
Lately I have been resorting to Aleve when I can't fight off my headaches alone. I keep 3 in my wallet at all times. Bad for body but good for headache.

And cut off from caffeine, nuts, and I think also chocolates.
