is it a myth or is it possible that people on pcp can make full use of their body, like along the lines of how people having epileptic fits can have teh strength of 10 men (but of course cant harness it when in a fit) so yeh wahts the deal, is this jsut a myth or does it have truth coming from the caes of savage brutality of pcp use in the 70's/80's?
It doesn't actually make you any STRONGER, but it kills pain and makes you irrational, allowing you to do things that you wouldn't normally do. Your muscles are capable of incredible feats of strength, particularly when you can't feel (or don't care about) the damage you might be doing to yourself. People on PCP have been known to dislocate joints or tear muscles and not realize it until they come down. Kind of the same situation as the mother who is somehow able to lift a fallen car off of her child because of fear and an adrenaline rush.
^^^Whered that car fall from? lol Anyway, yeah ive heard of the ole "i can fly" thing. So they go off and try to fly, break both their legs then run about 2 or 3 miles without a thought of it. Thats why you dont want to arrest someone thats dusted...you could lose. But ive never understood why these people have this amazing amount of energy and rage. All ive ever seen was people just fucked out of their mind sittin in the same spot for a few hours. Isnt pcp a sedative? Or is the effect dose sensitive?
PCP isn't a sedative, but a disassociative anesthetic. PCP, like it's close relative ketamine, only induces unconsciousness at higher dosages than are usually used recreationally. The "recreational" effects of these drugs are usually not seen when they are used medically as anesthetics, because higher doses are used, and the patient quickly loses consciousness. Where problems may occur is when you are coming out from the anesthetic, and you may experience the disassociative effects in what is called an "emergence reaction". A high incidence of unpleasant emergence reactions is the main reason why PCP was discontinued as an anesthetic for human use. Recreational use of these drugs involves sub-anesthetic doses, which leave the user conscious, and able to experience the effects that would otherwise be missed.
I heard somewhere that the most weight ever lifted by one man was done while he was on PCP. That may not be true though.
yeah, that's actually a big problem with people on pain killers. They feel alright, and think their back(or shoulders, neck, etc) is fine, so they go about their life. When they come down, they realize the shithole they dug themselves into.
pcp generally makes ya crazier & stupider... flushed down the toilet is where mine ended up... mid-70s... good riddance to bad dope... i don't need to be numb, dumb, & crazy... (at least not all at the same time, thanks but no thanks...) mmm, one of the more toxic & more "popular" (?!?!) dissociative anesthetics... hell, they aren't even allowed to use it on animals anymore...
how does one make pcp? even if you had the equipment for free, dont you need some kind of chemicals, that would cost $.... not that im planning on making any, but IMO pcp is awesome 2-3 times a year.

Smart move. I am all for people doing research and experimenting if they know what they are doing. But, street dust is a dirty drug (meaning weird things mixed in, odd side effects, and people doing it in a nonsafe enviroment) and after doing the research, I would think you would have to have a pretty pressing reason (or be in a VERY safe place) to want to do too much experimentation with dissasociatives. I have heard of Ketamine being used in controlled environments for certain types of therapy, but not PCP. Caveat Emptor.
No, powerful mind-altering drugs alter your mind so you think you are smarter and stronger when in fact you are just a raging psychotic.
its a movie where steve-o smokes PCP, although they never show it, and he freaks out and acts all stupid for like three days and then trys to get pcp saved my life tatooed on his collar. he smuggles drugs in the video, not very entertaining, but its alright.
on PCP though? ive never done it, but i thought it made you like blackout sometimes, i thought it was like a k-hole (kinda) all the rest of the time
super powers??? no, but i do know what your talking about, you can use more of YOUR OWN strength without getting fatigued, this is not a superpower. its just nice
Dude it didn't make you stronger. It's called mind over matter, you fool. You were fucked up and paid less attention to the fact that the muscles in your legs were burning and begging for rest, so you pushed yourself harder. This is an effect of the adrenaline that you get filled with as a result of doing PCP. If you're gonna try and say someone is wrong... pick someone a little less intelligent than ellis.
