Phish covers Gin and Juice

Anyone heard Phish cover Snoop's Jin and Juice? It's a funny tune in my opinion. I dig it.

 

Wow, I've gotta hear that. Gin and Juice is a cool ass song, so I can imagine that the cover by Phish must be pretty awesome.

 

actually its SCI... most people just labeled it Phish because they think all jambands are the same, i guess

its definately a creative twist on the original version... gotta give it two thumbs up for creativity

 

yeah but it sounds bad, the version I downloaded said GOOD PUNK-SKA COVER for the artist, to my disappointment it wasn't punk, it wasn't ska, and it wasn't any good

Its the Gourds who did that cover. I had a huge agrument about it once me sayin it was phish and turned out that it wasnt. We got on the intranet and i ended up losin like 5 bucks or somthing like that. Thats the first i ever heard That cheese did it. But then the Gourds played at bonnaroo this year and they busted that one out on us.

Yeah, I've heard tha. On the latest tour (i think) they did pimpin aint eazy w/ Jay Z, it was fucked up, I didnt really like it. I love phish though, I wish they were still here, i miss the music and the scene

 

Yeah, haha, I've been reading Run Like An Antelope while smoking... I'll do a bowl and read a page or two at a time and repeat the process while listening to phish.

 

Man, I heard that it wasn't Phish, Panic, or any of those other groups... I've never heard the gourds before, so I can't really say, but I heard it was the Georgia group called Rollin' In the Hay. Regardless, if you like that snoop cover or just kickass bluegrass jams in general, then Rollin' In the Hay might be worth your while...
