The other day my mom made a comment about the soles of my feet while I was laying on the family couch, she said she is surprised by how toughened my soles look like, took one of my foot and ran her thumb along the sole skin, saying she’s proud that I’m actually going barefoot so much, it made me smile and a bit proud of myself, I’m happy that my mom is so accepting of my barefoot antics even when she had doubts at first due to how we live in the big city
