First let me say that I am not opposed to public breast feeding. I recognize it as needed for the baby and as someone who enjoys social nudity, I feel we are way too uptight on the issue of a naked body.

My question is actually about the breast feeding mom. I imagine that there are many shy women who have fantasized/masturbated about showing their naked body in a public (my wife certainly has). Yet, they have never tried social nudity due to upbringing, religion, body image, etc.
Do these women get aroused from exposing their breasts in public in order to breast feed?

This question was prompted by a recent trip to Costco. A young mom was breast feeding in the food court. I’m totally ok with that. She started a conversation with me while nursing. While we talked the baby had some problem attaching. There was no covering to hide her nipple/areola as she worked with getting the baby interested/latched. Yes….i started at her eyes or head if she was looking down. Observations I made are related to what I got from peripheral vision.
So…again…for the women who don’t try to cover while nursing in public….is it thrilling for them? Does it allow them to live a fantasy of showing their breasts in a way that society approves of?

Society is totally screwed up because it wraps up sex with a natural body function. Breasts are for feeding, primarily. Look at some places in Africa, where boobs are out all the time and it's no more noteworthy than a guy in the US or UK being shirtless.

I say; she should feed her little one wherever she chooses, covered or not. Men should not stare and I suggest, don't even need to look.

yeah…the post was not in opposition to public breast feeding at all! As for looking…I stressed that I didn’t. But that’s ok, I get how it was mistaken for something else

There are apparel options to help mothers nurse their babies without offending some religious jerk. Some religions associate breasts with sexual deviance and not the purpose for mammals to enrich their offspring. Many ladies rooms have modesty facilities to take care of their babies without judgement.

I'm pretty sure virtually zero women get a sexual thrill from feeding their child in a society that villifies them for it.

I'm puzzled that the question was even asked. This almost feels like trolling

That may be true in the US, but public breast feeding is more acceptable here in the UK.

When my wife was breast feeding, she’d often flash more of her boobs than was strictly necessary. She started off using a discrete cover, but over time got more daring and dropped the shawl completely.

I remember one incident on holiday in Portugal where she flashed her tits at the dinner table in a posh restaurant. The rude waiters lost their tip by tut tutting at her. That was strange when you’d see more tits on the beach than you could shake a stick at.

I don’t think that this was exhibitionism as such. I think my wife just got blasé about people seeing her tits because no one had ever objected. After all, there was a legitimate reason for her to get them out. As a nurse, she was never precious about anyone seeing her body, just careful not to embarrass anyone. She told me she’d once done a massage course with a friend. Apparently, they all started out being careful not to show anything in the class. After a while, they stopped caring and let it all hang out.

I think if she thought anyone was offended at the sight of her tits, she would have stopped showing them. I suspect she was more worried that she’d be regarded as a prude if she was overly fussy about hiding them.

Although this doesn’t apply to my wife, there was an element of militancy about some of her friends breast feeding in public. One friend pretty well stripped to the waist to feed her baby in a busy cafe. They seemed to be proving some sort of point that it was nothing to be ashamed of, which of course it isn’t.

I was breastfeeding children in the 70s and early 80s. It is extremely easy to breast feed in public places without exposing breasts or if necessary trying to hide them. It is a natural function and should not be sexualised or vilified.

To answer the question, no, there’s no great thrill.

STOP ASSUMING THE WORLD HAS YOUR EXHIBITIONIST KINK!
