Dies anyone have tips on getting around a Reddit ban? I've created different accounts on different devices. I've also used a VPN.
Use a hotspot from your phone that connects to your data. WARNING!: this uses A LOT of data. You may want to opt for an unlimited plan, or hold a second and third SIM card for internet. Google Fi is neat, but it isn't very affordable. Tello is good. Mint is a close second. You could search for it on the Web. I will look in the Microsoft store inherent to Windows 10 & 11 and post.
"Ok. Thank you. Does Microsoft Store have anything like this? I want to use a reputable means as an alternative to access reddit."
Access to the internet isn't a problem. I have my cell plan (with data) as well as two ISP's in my home. Somehow, Reddit has figured out who I am and everytime I create a new account, it gets banned.
lol what did you do to get banned? I mean if your email is different, your IP is different, there's no way they know its you, right?
I pissed off one of the moderators. I assumed that different emails or IP addresses would get around the ban. But, I create a new email, use a VPN and create a new account. Soon after, I have a message that my account is banned. I have also used different laptops and cell phones. It's really weird.
Hahaha.. I’m in the same situation. I aggravated a Reddit moderator a couple years ago and he banned me. I tried different email addresses and they knew it was me. It’s kinda funny really. The moderator was from r/ conservative. Total cesspool. He was openly suggesting genocide as a solution to crime in the U.S. so I called him a fascist.he then proved my right by banning me! Hahaha. I really don’t need so many social media platforms anyway and banning me was the full extent of his power. Loser. LMFAO
One place I read that it can also be your browser is logged in. My Edge browser broadcasts who I am, but I think they are selective with who can see data rather than whichever site I visit. I'm not exactly sure. It's called browser 'fingerprinting'.
