what does the term "L" mean?

i remeber hearing that term used first in a Nelly song where it was like "smoke an L in the back of the benz"

only thing that comes to mind with an L is a pipe...but i dunno a pipe doesnt make much sense for that line

it could mean a Lid, I think its roughly equivalent to an ounce, mostly associated with a low quality supply (Third world origins)

It can be a jay rolled with two papers in the shape of an 'L', but it's most commonly reffered to as a blunt, more specifically being rolled in a Philly.
