Smoking Tea?

I dont know, Ive heard about this somewhere and wasnt sure where to post,
but yeah

People have been rolling green tea leaves and smoking it?

What does it do?
Is it bad for you?
Any experiences?

I'v heard of it...never done it however. I've been tempted to though. I beleive it's supposed to relax you or something...I'm not sure. But I think it is safe to try if you really wanted to.

 

Ive tried smoking a leaf before and it tasted planty.

But im sure its safe, I will try green tea sometime soon. Thanks drew

 

I've smoked black tea and it gave me a headache.

 

I have a lot of tea, too. I wonder what would happen if I smoked Sleepytime Tea?

 

Well, it's possible the caffeine would be absorbed through the lungs.. but apart from that I'd say a combination of placebo and urban myth.

 

yeah i've smoked tea twice with my friends and each time it was a bad experience. It just tastes awful and makes you feel sick. lol the second time was tea mixed with nutmeg.

 

Oh wait...If you're doing this for a high, then you prolly shouldn't bother, it'd be illegal by now.

I thought you were asking just for the sake of smoking something different.

I don't think it tastes shitty, I love the taste. Get the right tea. Try different ones till you find a decent tasting one.

 

I have heard of smoking catnip , and it supossedly gives you a mild high....theres an herbal Tea called Tension Tamer that has catnip in it , its put out by celeatial season's , might be worth a try.

 

Just smoked a tea joint about an hour ago, felt mildly invigorated, burnt smoothly and my breath stinks of tea now. Side from that nothing to report really.

 

I would try some catnip, or a little nutmeg mixed in. I have green tea and chai tea.
So, you guys do it for taste? And the joy of smoking, which I can relate. What do you roll it in? And uh, what does it do. Im guessing a little lightheadedness and a certain flavor?

A lot of old winos and street people smoke it if tobaccoo isnt available.

I have smoked it in my youth. I recall it stinking pretty badly and not tasting very good, but if really needed to ease those smoke laden lungs I suppose in a pinch it would do.

But then, I have smoked pretty much anything at one time or another.

Best smoked outdoors because of the stench.LOL

 

If it is a buzz you are after smoke cinnimon sticks. Not the best taste but you can get a slight buzz.
