This one of those Gee-Wiz articles I recommend. By merely examining bubbles in bog marsh lands, they found a way to create lightning in a bubble, and add methane for extra bright light. Exactly what the Hell people might do with this discovery boggles the imagination, but you could produce your own special laser light show.
