I remember the Age of AIDS. I was still in HS. And it was weird, and evolved very slowly. First it came to the nation's attention with the Rock Hudson case. So it could happen to anyone, if it could happen to him, we learned. But what was it? Then they isolated the virus. So it's a virus, but it's still incurable. Then around 30 years ago it became treatable and a disease you can live with. But it wasn't always that way.
