It is a toss-up between "The End" by The Doors and "Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun" by Pink Floyd.

Crazy World of Arthur Brown - the guys sets his head on fire, what more can anyone do?

Set the Controls is pretty out there, as is most of Piper and Ummagumma, as well as Are You Experienced.

There are some freaky Airplane tunes, Surrealistic Pillow has some nice spots!

Probably something off of the latest Flaming Lips' album or something from one of Pink Floyd's records that came out from '67 to '75.

"A journey in the center of the mind" by The Amboy Dukes or
Pink Floyd "Syd Barrett" records are reallly gone u know
The Grateful are in the same category... and Hawkwind were space travellers...no really there's 100 good bands with at less 10 psych. good songs...

    You've got potentially a 1000 track option...
    Let me think
    I will be back...in 10 years

^^^ It's pretty cool that tune yeah. All the Shpongle stuff is pretty out there, the thanks list on the album sleeves tells you all you need to know hehe. Everything Simon Posford has ever put his name to has to be some of the most beautiful psychedelic music ever created. I just put on Shamanix off Hallucinogen - Twisted having not listened to it in months and this song is tear-jerkingly psychedelic (the whole album is), especially at the end when it peaks into that beautiful arpeg line. 11 years old and very hard to beat even with new school production techniques.

Listening to psychedelic music 24/7 I couldn't say 'the most psychedelic track I know' as psychedelia is in the mind of the beholder but despite not listening to the old Godford much these days it would probably have to be something by him. Or old Cosmosis, Green Nuns, Pleiadeans, Slinky Wizard, Doof etc all the old Goa stuff.

Suomi style sound is v. psych but in a much more hectic way for sure as well, artist such as Haltya, Squaremeat, Texas Faggott, Eraser & Yojalka, James Reipas to name a few

    BRAINTICKET biography

Basically, BRAINTICKET were born out of a 60's jazz group featuring Belgian born keyboardist Joel VANDROOGENBROECK, and as history was made, BRAINTICKET became the project of a visionary talent. They were among the important pioneers of early psychedelic and spaced out cosmic.

Their musical experience of four decades:
    1 - HALLUCINATIONS OF REALITY:

    1 - HALLUCINATIONS OF REALITY:
BRAINTICKET's debut album is perhaps one of the most psychedelic recordings of all time. Their second "Psychonaut" is far more pleasant and an ethnic type of early German rock!
    2- ERA OF TECHNOLOGY:
On "Celestial Ocean", music is really early Krautrock mixed with a fair amount of analog and spacey keyboards. A bizarre mystical concept based on Egyptian mythology.
    3- OTHER ADVENTURES:
"Adventure" is a heavy cosmic voyage into the epicenter of your mind. "Voyage" continues where "Adventure" left off with more strange sonic cosmos and amazing percussive tones and moods.
    4- SPACE TRAVEL:
"Alchemic Universe" blends the finer aspects of space travel more in a TANGERINE DREAM'ish/ of KRAFTWERK sytle. If your into the psychedelia then BRAINTICKET is your long lost grandfather.
