So we just had an estimate for resealing our driveway (a practice which I feel is unnecessary but my wife wants done) and the dude was very nice..but he had to mention out of nowhere that he is a Trump fan and we need to drill for more oil as we don't produce enough and that makes asphalt prices rise. I didn't want to get into an argument by telling him that we are the largest producer of oil in the world. He was bragging about how he could find any information he wanted on the net...but he somehow overlooked the real reason for the rising cost of asphalt, which I found in .3 seconds. to be somewhat fair I don't think Fox news acknowledges that the US is the largest oil producer, most think that OPEC is a single body and that they control oil production, which is kind of true AND we don't belong to OPEC
its an amalgamation of fantasies that never actually existed and therefore cannot be disproven or defined , created as a defense mechanism so as to deflect when one tries to disprove part or all of it
