those are nowhere near the longest. the longest is a guy in taiwan, 38 feet (1 unidread) also longer then hers snd all way beyond hers hers are just a couple inches over the average long dreads i know i have many freinds whos dreads are very close to her length. they just never bothered to try to set records. i was told i should call guiness.. but i know mine sre nothing compared to these ppl more to come
i think thats plenty enough proof that shes nowhere near the record 107 inches is how many feet? i suck at math but i know its nowhere near the 38 feet of the record btw, hes in guiness for the worlds longest hair, not specificaly for worldfs longest dread, but sincce its a dread shouldnt he automaticly get both?
I'd reckon, as an estimate, without any maths, her longest one was about 7 foot? Ish xD Those long ones are hheenncchh!!
if mine werent always stepped on and broken off on the ends theyd be longer then hers not sure ill have to fine a measuring tape and try to measure 1 of the longer ones last time i did was a year or 2 ago and average was bout 78 inches i think guessing longest naw might be 98, but i do loose 6-8 inch chunks alot i know several ppl with longer dreads then mine my freind dubsides were as long as mine when mine were to my shoulders he keeps thenm tucked inside his clothes (into his socks even) because he rides a boke everywhere, but id guess theyd have to be at a minumum 15 feet by now theres probly hundreds of ppl with em around 20 feet 7 feets just not that remarkable at all thats a few inches beyond awverage for older dreads (in the 20 year range) and theres alotta ppk whove had dreads 30-40 years or more
u know dubside? ive known him many many years, just around town, he used to be in a group "out of africa" way back when did sound for shows and such hell lived with him awhile sorta at killtime (crazy warehouse space) i cant even guess how many years ive known him
aah man those crazy long crazy thick ones are so nasty! you cant possibly keep that shit properly clean
thats what i keep telling ppl, everyone ..well not eeryone but alotta ppl get obsessed with super thick dreades and i keep telling em theyre extra hard to keep clean, to dry and keep mold free but i supose something like the deep cleanse wil work fine. but i know when my scalp itches.i wanna be able to find my scalp to scratch it..lol
I read online that it's a new category being added to the Guinness World Records, so anyone who else who thinks they have the longest dreads needs to contact Guinness. But since the longest hair is a lock he should already have it. idk.
i think that womans clueless and just cause someone said she should contact em she did. if u look at the comments in my albunm you'll see someone told me to contact them and even gave a link. ..anyone whos never seen dreads as long as youirs will think theyre a record. but a simple search online will prove theres many whos are tripple the length or longer...so her lil 7 feet isnt all that impressive next to 27 or 37 foot dreads the thinkg is..most of these ppl with 20+ foot dreads are highly spiritual, zero possessions types, who probly never heard of the guiness book..and wouldnt care either way anyway. they need no recognition they just live in bliss, and wiouldnt care if they held some sorta record or not.
