    Device: Vaporizer
Size: Small, Handheld, stealthy, 7' length
    Highest temp: 400
    Price: 150 with shipping

Alright well first impressions to begin. Upon opening the box i was quite dissapointed to find the outer shell was almost entirely made out of plastic. That being said however the build quality appears decent and the temperature gage is easy to read. Easy to use and able to hold a decent amount of herb (enough to get thoroughly high off 1-2 bowls) + a ceramic heating element so it heats up faster. It comes with a battery pack and an assorment of replacement screens, mouthpeices, and a pack of herbs.

On first use the ceramic element became apparent, it reaches the required 350-360 in no more than 1-1:30 and maintains heat well even with heavy suction. Temperature is set using the bottom + and -, and starts heating upon pressing the top button. Three button setup: very easy to use. Once temperature is reached the shake goes in the top and must be packed down into the small hold at the base of the larger chamber (there is a spoon to pack it down). Packing bowls: Not bad, but not great.

Upon first hit one thing becomes immediately apparent. Plastic/oil taste. Even after putting it through the required 20 minute heat clean some of the packing oils seemed to linger although they have faded quickly. I hope i dont get cancer. Anyway the vapor is dense and visible which is nice for a smoker like me and it goes down very smooth. Got high pretty quickly off the first bowl. Added another one soon after and ended up with a very nice, energetic high.

Overall so far im very impressed with this vape. If you get it heat clean it well maybe twice and you should be fine. Very stealthy and works great so far.

EDIT: Battery pack is bulky (10 AA's connected together) but usable/portable and lasts for about 4-5 decent sized sessions
    4.5/5

Nice review. Have you tried out the battery pack yet? If so how long did it last/how many bowls were you able to vape in that time?

It's a cool little stealthy vape, however, if I don't buy a new bong this month I'm definitely picking up an Arizer Extreme Q

Nice review! I've only smoked out of a vape one time and I loooove them!
I wanna get one soon when I have the money.

Not really sure what the Q really stands for, but I always tell people it should be QQ as it is quicker and quieter than the original Arizer Extreme. The Extreme Q heats up in a little over a minute, as compared to the original extreme which would take 8-9. Also the original extreme is loud at its highest fan speed, not as loud as the volcano which is a beast when it comes to noise, but still loud nonetheless. The Extreme Q is almost completely silent at its highest fan speed, which is nice and stealthy, but honestly it's just more to have around than a vaporizer with a loud electronic whirring.

Well technically yes as you can get the original Extremes for cheaper on ebay, but no, the Q is just a revision and thus took over the price slot of the original.

Battery lasts probabaly 2 or three full sessions, website says an hour of heating time but I'm not sure if I beleive that. Definitely not inconveiniently short or anything though. Also the arrizer looks real ballin , saw in vaporizers.ca when I was buying mine, only thing that seriously stopped me from getting it is that I was looking for something portable. What's the price for it again? Might be a good purchase in a few monthes when I move out

For Portable, I personally like the Iolite. Pocket size, but more expensive. However, very nice review. Made me look at it closer.

Checked out the iolites a while ago and toyed with the idea of buying one, the only thing that stopped me is the butane fillups. I had a zippo awhile back and its just a pain in the ass to deal with butane all the time. But it looks awesome and definitely more compact/contained, probably worth the $300 price tag.

Yeah, not fond of the butane fill up either. Every time I had a nice lighter with a fill it never really worked right. So I feel ya.

My friend has an iolite, and it's cool and all but if I'm about to drop that much $ on a vaporizer I want fat vape rips and could care less about portability.

The Extreme Q can be found on eBay for around 210-240 or from places like gotvape or direct from the site for the full price of 300+ tax. Definitely worth it though since you get a nice bag and whip system, lots of exchangeable parts, and a remote control.

An iolite is alright, but I find they don't really give thick smoke.. it is very much like inhaling vapour.

Also, that piece where the weed sits REALLY needs a lock.. it's pretty easy to accidentally grab it by the inhalation tip and have your weed fall out.
