Vertical hood piercings???

I'm considering adding one of these to my little body mod collection and I was wondering if any ladies here have had this done, or know any one who has...or any vaginal piercing for that matter as their are quite a few different ones...

From the people I have spoken too/ the research I have done it is a minimal amount of pain and heals up in like a month providing you properly care for it while healing...and I read that it gives a very pleasurable amount of increased sensetivity...

I think they are really pretty...


But ah! $50 on another body mod...*sigh*
And I'd have to do it at a time when I could ensure it would be able to heal without being bothered...like I leave to travel for a few months in june so those months are bad for piercing methinks...

Anyway...any help would be great. I know it's kind of obscure.

 

It would be terrible removing a fresh one for the TSA.

weird. I have never had any issues with my nipple one while flying. didn't even set off the metal detector...

 

I'm pretty sure that's a fair civil rights violation.

 

VCH is an easy piercing. there is a pinch and its done. Heals quickly too.

FWIW, I'm pretty heavily pierced and I've never set off any metal detectors. Even after 9/11 and all the security bullshit. Even if I did, you woudn't find me stripping down for the TSA people. I'd rather miss my flight.

 

As long as you don't chip anybody's teeth with that thing.

 

i have a hood piercing, i'm sensitive so the actualy piercing was a lil painful wont lie, but after ten minutes it was like nothing had happend, it heals up quickly and feels amazing. Mine is your standrad 12 g. I also have my labis pierced, it hurt to but it was cause i had them pierced together, and they were pierced at a 10g, but it is now stretched to a 0g. With the labis it hurt for a few days afterward, but made me wet when i walked so it was kind of a funny sensation.

I say go for it, the pain is totally worth all the pleasure you will get out of it. Beauty is pain.

How long would you figure it needs to go without being touched during the healing process- like a month?

 

with in two weeks you'll probably feel good enough to fuck around with it, but wait a 4-8 weeks before you have sex.

 

I have both a VCH and an HCH..healing time around 1 week..my piercer said to wait at least 2 weeks before having sex...although it's hard to wait that long

 

i definitely recommend this piercing to any woman! it is especially fun when its new but healed. you'll get an extra sensation. i love my vch so much and i just added two inner labia piercings. genital piercings are definitely the way to go

 

No... depending on your anatomy you can have sex pretty much right away after getting a hood piercing, as long as you avoid positions that involve direct friction or pressure on the piercing. By four weeks you should be able to tolerate more direct, but gentle, friction. There's a lot of blood flow in that area so piercings heal fast.

I love mine, but I may be a complete anomaly, and in fact my piercer has never heard of this happening before, but two weeks after I had mine done, I hemmorhaged and lost about two pints of blood. (No sex was involved... all I was doing was driving my car when I hemmorhaged)

I soaked my skirt, the seat in my car, a large number of menstrual pads, and a towel by the time I got home 15 minutes later. Luckily I was with friends, and they helped me get there. Ice and pressure stopped the bleeding, but it started again after I fell asleep, and when one of my friends called to check up on me I literally woke up in a pool of blood. Quite spectacular really. Lucky for me that she called, too.

After a few days of recovery, though, it went on to heal normally and has been a source of joy ever since.

 

WOW..never heard of that happening before and I'm on a lot of piercing forums..What type of piercing was it? VCH or HCH?? I would think that with a triangle that might happen as it is so much deeper. My HCH seemed to be a little longer in healing, but not much. And it did bleed more than the VCH. Just kept doing sea salt soaks several times a day. My VCH was "usable' in several days..

 

I've been reaseraching this one for the past few weeks. I'm very interested and I've only read one or two stories on BME that were negative.
Hopefully I can scratch up 50 bucks

ok... question for you experienced clit piercing ladies!!! does a vch rub directly against the clit itself? i have such a sensitive clit, and when i'm having sex or masturbating, i can't even stand to touch it, even with lots of lube... it always has to be under the hood pretty much. would a hch be better suited for me? just curious, especially to those of you who have both.

 

just because u feel good enouigh to have sex doesnt mean you should. You stillhave to consider that it fresh piercing thats healing, and if not taken careo f properly coudl lead to other harmful things such as infection.

 

I said it was usable..not that I used it..I waited several weeks before I even masterbated..given the fact that I'm single made it easy to wait..
