Anything by Dr. Seuss "tweetle beetle noodle poodle bottled paddled muddled duddled fuddled wuddled fox in socks".
This one has always been my Favorite. And No I won't taint my memories by watching that awful movie adaptation.
My favorite is Paddle to the Sea from the early 50s. A richly illustrated story of an Indian from the Northern shore of Lake Superior who carves a small wooden canoe with an Indian paddler. The canoe is set in the lake and the story is of the journey of the canoe though the Great Lakes to the sea. A heartwarming geography lesson.
I like C.S. Lewis since it was wonderful for me as a child. The one I remember most is "The Voyage of the Dawntreader", but "The Silver Chair" was a very good read! It is the book after "Dawntreader" in the series. It's important to me that I understand these books from my new faith, and not the faith administered by the author though. He was a very religious person! C. S. Lewis - Wikipedia --------------------
Whenever any of our three mentioned paying for a label on fashion clothing or shoes, they got a dose of Sneetches. It always seemed to work. LOL
I would love getting an original copy w/o a stupid barcode!! (OLDER ONE) I WILL NOT TAKE ANY BOOKS WITH A BARCODE!!
Well What I mean are re-issues of older books that have barcodes.. (Like a 1960s book re-issued in the 80s)
