Just wondering, can you buy this herb at stores or is it only sold over that net? And how much should I expect to pay?

I prefer shamanspalace.com, but there are a lot of different sites that you can get it from. Iamshaman is alright, but it's not the best by a long shot. Club13 has some extracts too.

Go to Iamshaman and get 10 grams of 20x. Best deal around besides ebay. Don't get less than 10 grams though, or you won't get the deal.

on iamshaman.com it says that the salvia they are selling is for incense purposes only not for human consumption.. whats that mean? and also is the non-standardized stuff still good? cuz its a lot cheaper lol 10 grams from 80 for the 10x is a great deal

The "Incense use only" is just a disclaimer for legal reasons. As for standardized vs. nonstandardized, standardized is higher quality and more consistent, but more expensive as well. nonstandardized is the flipside of that.

being of the same genus as common sage (salvia officinorum) would a large quantity of common sage have a similar effect, or is the effect unique to the species?

Nope. Salvia Divinorum is the only plant that contains the psychoactive compound Salvinorin A.

You can buy it at a lot of bong shops (very expensive) or on the net (medium expensive). Check out everyonedoseit and other legal high websites.... Salvia is the only legal high I like for insight, the rest have me a headache...

apparently salvia at headshops isnt as good but i wouldn't know i never bought it from there. and non-standardized salvia isnt neccesarily worse it just means that its not going to be the exact same strength as other non-standardized extracts.
