Go Scratch !

It used to be nasty thing to say to someone. A sort of shorthand--if you will--for go scratch yourself. My intention for this one deals more with the lotteries. I play about $10/week on predetermined numbers. They are generally losers, but they were the five QUICK-PICKS I was given ages ago on my first trip to Idaho. My host was a big lottery player. I played five games on one card and kept the receipt. Every time I'd be in another state, I'd play those numbers.
Scratchers are pretty popular. Sometimes I'll pick up one or two $1 scratchers. Unlike most people who scratch the card and search for their winnings among the symbols or words, I scratch off the bar code and take it to the reader. I take the losers and put them atop the trash can so that someone who is obsessed with scratching can have the fun of the scratch.
