Who wouldn't love to break the bank in Monte Carlo ?

I pulled the lever on a $1 machine at the Plaza Hotel in Las Vegas. I had set the machine for a $2 wager. I got three double diamonds when the wheels stopped turning. I pushed the service button. Mary took my DL and asked for my SS number. She came back with a 1099 and $1500 cash money.
It was all rather anti-climactic.
"What did you do next?"
I fingered my phone for the address of the nearest Bank of America, walked over there, and made a deposit (WITHOUT AN ATM/DEBIT CARD, mind you!) while my travel companion vaped or smoked outside.
Surprised at how many people wondered how I made a deposit without a bank card. Simple... I just gave the clerk my DL and my SS number and also my DOB. Amazing what computers can do even from out-of-state.
There's been no change in my life. I mean, it's not like hitting a multi-million dollar lottery. I donated to about ten non-profits that are on my favorites list, bought an Israeli bond, and lived the rest of the stay with whatever I had come to town with.

I play the lottery. The numbers are the same (one game has my birthday and a GF's birthday and another game has my birthday and a former BF's birthday). The powerball number is the mean of all the dates. Curiously, that number is the same for both sets of numbers. And, to answer your pressing question, NO, I have not hit the big win.
Are there fantasies that go through my brain with what I'd do with a win? Of course. Get myself nicer digs. Find a car that no one else has ever seen. Wait for calls from folks who had abandoned me years ago and who all of a sudden want to be my pal. Maid service. A private cook. What's not to want?
