Murder for Hire is Not a Joke

Can you tell whose Wikipedia biography I'm reading ?
Just so I don't forget this moment, the clue I will leave is BLAKE. But what really had been on my mind is that I do cursory screening for suicidal/homicidal ideation. The question is simple; "Do you feel as if you would want to end your life now or end the life of someone else?"
I was in my mid-20s the last time I had the notion of wishing someone were dead. It would not be any grand fantasy or elaborate scheme. Just a wish that maybe the brakes on the Bonneville would fail and the big red boat of a vehicle would end up in the Bay. Or maybe the anorexic idiot would swallow one of those air popped pop corn pieces and have it lodge in her windpipe. We'd find her on the floor of her office with the ledger open to the accounts payable and the last check from the Hibernia Bank account only dated with nothing else written one it.
Murder for hire is something you see on television. Fortunately, I don't know anyone who even remotely engages in such acts of violence. I personally have also grown and matured to a point where wishing someone's life to end is just not something that nice people think or do.
I am often reminded that even though someone might be the cause of grief and pain in my life, this person is the child, sibling, spouse, or caregiver of someone else. I would never want anyone to wish me dead or to think in terms of having a contract hit put out on me.
In healthcare, I take such comments seriously. And when someone makes the remotest gesture in that direction, I let him know that he needs to think that thought again before I write it down because such comments are taken seriously.
