Polly Sigh One Oh One

I'm not a history major/buff but my life has been personally and professionally challenged by that MF-ing a**hole. So I'm putting together an outline of talking points for me to blog away about.
I work as a union representative for federal employees. During his reign of terror during the era of COVID, my ability to represent labor was diminished. My union office was taken from me. My official time was taken from me. I could not communicate with management using the government computers.
I was being bullied by an idiot who referred to women as 'grab 'em by the pussy'. How did this cretin become so treasured?
I. 01/06 Capitol Attack
His speech contained many falsehoods and misrepresentations that inflamed the crowd. Trump did not call on his supporters to use violence or enter the Capitol, but his speech was filled with violent imagery and Trump suggested that his supporters had the power to prevent Biden from taking office.
The insurrection gravely threatened democracy and “put the lives of American lawmakers at risk,” the bipartisan nine-member panel concluded, offering a definitive account of a dark chapter in modern American history. It functions not only as a compendium of the most dramatic moments of testimony from months of hearings, but also as a document that is to be preserved as a warning for future generations.
In a series of recommendations, the seven Democrats and two Republicans on the committee suggest that Congress consider barring Trump from holding future office. The findings should be a “clarion call to all Americans: to vigilantly guard our Democracy and to give our vote only to those dutiful in their defense of our Constitution,” says House Speaker Nancy Pelosi in a foreword to the report.
II. The Evils of 45
He pardoned war criminals
He vetoed the bipartisan National Defense Authorization Act (3% pay raise for the troops)
He ordered the drawdown of nearly all US forces in Afghanistan and Iraq.
He put millions in limbo by threatening to veto coronavirus relief.
He failed to ban travel from Europe in January.
His jarring fights with reporters during coronavirus briefings alienated rather than united us.
His reluctance to embrace masks cost lives.
His failing to distribute more than half the available doses of vaccine.
He lost a winnable election and then refused to accept the results — or his own responsibility for losing.
He discussed imposing martial law at an Oval Office meeting.
From another site I got:
SUBVERTING THE 2020 ELECTION
He falsely claimed victory and pressured election officials in battleground states to fraudulently throw out millions of votes for President Joe Biden
His legal team filed dozens of meritless lawsuits alleging fraud, which were rejected by a bipartisan array of federal and state judges, and the Supreme Court
The Trump administration dragged its feet on the formal transition of power, which was delayed for weeks while Trump refused to acknowledge defeat. Biden said his team was met with “obstruction” from Trump appointees at the Pentagon and White House. Trump’s efforts to undermine the transition are unprecedented in modern American history
INCITING AN INSURRECTION
ABUSING THE BULLY PULPIT
Many of the experts pointed to Trump’s inflammatory and divisive rhetoric as a stark abuse of power, albeit not criminal, and probably not impeachable either. But they said Trump abused the bully pulpit by using his platform to brazenly spread lies and conspiracies, attack political opponents of all stripes, and praise bad actors like white nationalists and authoritarian leaders.
POLITICIZING THE JUSTICE DEPARTMENT
Trump politicized the Justice Department and FBI from the very start of his presidency until the final days. He repeatedly crossed lines and violated norms that have been in place since Watergate to create independence between the White House and federal law enforcement.
OBSTRUCTING THE MUELLER INVESTIGATION
The Mueller investigation dominated the first three years of Trump’s presidency. Angry over an investigation that he felt was illegitimate, Trump repeatedly lashed out at Mueller and took steps to undermine and obstruct the sprawling criminal probe. Mueller investigated 10 episodes and found persuasive evidence that Trump’s actions fit the legal criteria to warrant criminal charges.
ABUSING THE PARDON POWER
THE UKRAINE AFFAIR AND COVER-UP
LOYALTY OATHS AND PERSONALIZING GOVERNMENT
FIRING WHISTLE BLOWERS AND TRUTH-TELLERS
PROFITING OFF THE PRESIDENCY
III. Anti-union animus (from the AFL-CIO)
Donald Trump told us in 2016 he would stand with workers. He lied. The difference now is that he has a record he can’t hide from. And that record was catastrophic for workers. Former President Trump spent four years in office weakening unions and working people while pushing tax giveaways to the wealthiest among us. He stacked the courts with judges who want to roll back our rights on the job. He made us less safe at work. He gave big corporations free rein to lower wages and make it harder for workers to stand together in a union.
IV. The Evils of that Yugoslavian wife of 45
She gave a citizen speech that was repulsive
She wore a pith helmet on a trip to Nairobi in 2018, which to many evoked imagery of imperial oppressors
During a visit to see detained children at the US border, she wore a jacket with "I don't really care, do you?" across the back.
She was accused of plagiarizing Michelle Obama’s 2008 Democratic National Convention speech
She eviscerated the Rose Garden
V. The Party and its Wobbly Platform
Trump and the RNC abandoned the republican platform legacy of Ronald Reagan
A loyalty test for the GOP, a reality test for the country
VI. The Supportive Cast of Crétins
During a September 8, 2016, interview on Israel's Channel 2, Clinton said: "You can take Trump supporters and put them in two big baskets. There are what I would call the deplorables—you know, the racists and the haters, and the people who are drawn because they think somehow he's going to restore an America that no longer exists."
