The cards seldom lie

‘This covers you.
"This crosses you.
"This is beneath you.
"This is behind you.
"This crowns you.
"This is before you.
"This one is for yourself.
"This one is for your home.
"This one is for your hopes and fears.
"And this one is for what will surely come to pass."
I have been to occult shops on a regular basis. I smudge and I meditate. From time to time I use incense. I have owned cards in the past and I have given them away as gifts.
I never learned to read the cards. (Wands = Creativity and will; Pentacles = Material body or possessions; Cups = Emotions and love; Swords = Reason). Each of the suits affects one of the faculties.
As a querent, I take the formation of the question rather seriously. After all, the psychic energy is going into the interpretation of the inquisition through the medium of the cards.
The reading was spot on without the reader's knowing what the question was. She was able to describe certain emotional and psychic blockages that I have that prevent me from moving forward with the tangible thing that I might need in the near future. She also mentioned an upcoming offer at work that is expected to be a game changer. Yes... that has happened, but it has never been mentioned to anyone.
Oddly enough this woman was able to determine the gender of the players in my life even though these genders didn't match what was on the cards.
I treated the reader to a Chinese take-away late lunch of crispy duck, white long grain rice, and fried pork dumplings. Fair exchange, IMHO.
I feel exhilarated. Now to see what happens this upcoming week.
